Pay for Hushmail?

Maybe this is a stupid question but, I need to know. Does having a free account compared to a Upgraded $29.99 pr. yr. account effect the performance of hushmail? Man, I keep having problems! It constantly goes down. (Wish my girl friend did as much) I get to "Enter Passphrase", and when I do it just sits there looking at me. I tried to E-mail their Tech department and it said "memory full!" I don't mind paying if it helps. Please some input from anyone with experience with hushmail.
Thanks Bros.! graybass

Hey Bassy - I used to have the same problem with Cyber-Rights. I would type in my passphrase and it would just load, and load, and load, and....well you get it, lol. So I had this friend of my sister's take a look at my comp. It turns out that it was FULL of viruses. Maybe that is something to look into. Or you can just sign up for a cyber-rights account and see if that works for ya.

I agree that the problem is probably your computer.

Buy Norton system works and run its one-button-cleanup. It's worth it.

I was having a lot of problems with my computer too, not just with hushmail but with other apps as well. And somebody on here posted a link to www.lavasoftusa.com for free computer cleaning apps. I went there and downloaded Ad-Aware, although I was sent to another site (I think www.majorgeeks.com) for the actual download. I also downloaded AntiVir XP and Internet sweeper. I think the Ad-Aware finds all the spyware on your computer and lets you disable it, the AntiVir is a anti-virus program, and the Internet Sweeper just deletes unnecessary files on your comp. Anyway, my computer runs like it's brand new now. Give it a try before you buy anything. If you've got any questions, let me know.

Bros, I got all that shit. Norton 2004, Zone Alarm Pro, and I just got BPS adware/spyware remover, Plus I dumped and reloaded The Java software for hush. when I ran the remover it found something like 14,000 infected files. I blasted them all! SO I"M STILL HAVING PROBLEMS!! It must be me, the fucking computer hates me. It knows that I'm just learning this shit. Christ I threw a party when I finally got a custom Avatar.
All well, anybody else. You might as well flame me I feel like a dope. Burn baby, burn. That Old Graybass

SET YOUR SECURITY SETTINGS TO MEDIUM OR LOW,.IF THATS NOT THE CASE THEN UR COMPUTER IS RUNNING TO SLOW TO LOAD THE CYBER ACCOUNT,.NEED MORE MEMORY

NO problems here

Hey bro, I have never had any problems with Hushmail. IMO it very stable, as was said before maybe you are having some computer problems.

hush up

Thanks for all the helpfull input Bros! It's not my memory I have brand new computer 120GB, 512MB ram, Tons of memory. All my security settings are on medium. I even lowered my firewall a little. Still really slow loading. Everything else on my computer is lighting fast. (digital cable service) I guess I'll take Bob's advice and go to kept private.
Thanks to everyone, I really appreciate it (good to hear from Vegas, How you doin Bro?) Peace Graybass

I am a tech guy and would bet it is a firewall problem

hushy

Now I know I'm losing my F**kin mind. I just ran my Norton anti-virus scan, then I ran Windows new Xp system optomizer, Than I cleaned all my cookies, folders, and files. After that I ran Bps's new Spyware/Adware remover, checked all my security, privacy settings, rechecked all my Zone Alarm Pro settings, and every F**kin thing else I could think of. Finally it's loading!!!Wow Way too much work. It's all Bill Gates's fault!

Hey Graybass things are good bro.....I have had the same problem before with the slow load and I've got a gig of pc1033 as well as cable. I realized how much crap was being stored on a daily basis in the temp files and folders, etc. so now I am doing as you did several times a day. Going to internet options and clearing all that crap. Also set your browser history to be cleared every day. That history crap is good for those with dial-up but with cable who needs it ? Also another good tip in zone alarm is to set a notification permission for any application that is trying to access the internet. This will prevent any unknown apps (that you did not load) from relaying unauthorized info.(What some trojans or spyware does if there has been a registry edit). Running and updating the ad-aware really helps here. Take care Bro......Vegas

Besides your computer problem of slow loading..

a PAID hushmail or cyber-rights account is a WISE CHOICE because it has lots more features; like better SPAM blockers, Unsolicited email verification (it doublechecks incoming emails by sending an email back to them to see if its a real human being who is not in your addresss book versus spam), POP email configuration, Vacation responses, and even better yet... your account will NOT get deleted if you dont check it in 3 weeks like the free version!!! :)

Oh yeah, and another good thing? you can pay for your 1yr account by money order with fake return address and/or fake name. Keeps your account VERY ANONYMOUS just like we all need ;)

WOW- I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY PERSON PAYING FOR HUSHMAIL.
HEY GRAYBASS- I PAY AND EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE I HAVE SOME PROBLEMS WITH THE ACCOUNT AND THE ONLY DIFFERENCE I HAVE NOTICED IS THAT THE TECH SUPPORT AND VERY QUICK TO HELP. AND YES THE MONEY ORDER W/ YOUR "OTHER" NAME IS THE WAY TO GO.
