These options are in place on our website for those who live in a country where the importation/use/possession/ of our products is not illegal.

You are a fool if you use these options and you live in a country where these products are banned. A FOOL.

Have all recently made posts regarding the dangers involved using these services. These services have virulent anti crime divisions which will vigorously seek out, find, and assist LE in prosecuting those who use their services for criminal endeavors. If you use them inspite of this knowledge you do so at your own peril.

I openly, and humbly, apologize if I ever made a post which led people to believe they would be safe in using these options. I informed some of you via PM that these were unsafe options weeks ago, but never made my beliefs public on the open forum. I owe everyone an apology for that.

I also apologize to any of the vets for any perceived sleight through the language I have used here. It was never my belief these options were safe for everybody and mugzy/reg/bb were correct for drilling my responsibility to inform you of my personal beliefs through my thick skull.

I have done time. I would never want to cause anyone else to go through that, and I now realize that I have condoned these practices through my silence.

I can be stubborn/hard headed and arrogant to my own peril, but when these negative character qualities begin to affect those around me a change must be made.

It isn't an attempt to gain vets as customers. Its an attempt to make sure noobs are informed of the dangers involved.

I will keep this thread bumped to the top of this section as long as I am here. And my Sig will remain the same as well.

The world doesn't revolve around the USA. Laws in the USA are not universal.

I am told that in Europe you can still buy prepaid CCs over the counter...with no SSN or the equivalent...is this false?

If that is true, then PP would be the only problem yes? And only a problem for those customers who are located in a country where AAS are illegal.

Or am I missing something obvious again?

Why don't you post this information @ checkout right when they choose Paypal vs keeping a thread bumped at all times.

Someone may refer this site to a friend who does not read forums regularly like some of us.

My first purchase ever I used Paypal. I don't consider myself a fool but I am not perfect and don't know everything. Common sense escapes the best of us at times.

Personally I would like to see an upheld policy of cancelling orders where paypal was the selected payment, if the country being shipped to was one where AAS are banned. But alas, this is not my decision, so I am doing what I can.....for now.

I am a developer and that feature is not impossible to build but a simple notice on that page would suffice. Just text until you can figure out (or hire someone) to manipulate your shopping cart.

If you need a programmer, go to www.elance.com. You'll find great programmers out of China or Pakistan or Russia (any many parts of the World that are neutral) that can at least add the text easily.

If your moving what I think your moving in volume, and i've read of the profits that are generated in this business, its an easy thing to do and it will make your brand stronger and more reputable.

You'd be surprised at the power you yield with your employer. You've been very dedicated in defending this site, you can push back for a small investment if it means its for the greater good (although the risk for consumer punishment is small, its your employers duty (and yours) to go above and beyond to help the innocent).

LOL. I do have his ear. He has taken the advice I've given him on everything with the exception of this PayPal/CC debacle. I have to admit there was a small degree of satisfaction, when it blew up. lol. I have pushed and pushed him to just remove it. He actually said yes for a minute tonight, then changed his mind. He is a good man, but he is stubborn, and set in his beliefs. Nothing I have been able to say to the contrary has been able to dissuade him. He maintains that fully 30% of our sales come from over-seas, where AAS laws are different, which he says nullify's risks of paypal. As well as, laws governing prepaid credit cards being registered to a proven identity. (I have no idea, if this is true or not. never been to europe)


His assertion has been, and remains; WU/MG also have criminal investigation units, who will flag any receiver who receives large amounts of transactions/money. And many times WU/MG asks for id from the sender, or the sender simply uses real information. He feels because of this, there is practically no difference. We have gone round and round, argued and argued. On these points. I tend to agree, but the perception of those more experienced and more intelligent than I varies from my own opinion so much. I feel ignorant for disagreeing with their experience. My dad always told me, that when EVERYONE is telling you something and you're the only one standing up for your point. You're almost always going to be wrong.

I genuinely like the man, I feel he is honest, and good-hearted in spite of his stubborness. But his unwillingness to see the light on this issue, is troubling to me to say the least. So, while I remain an employee here, I will do everything I can to warn people. I cannot change the site, and my sincerest efforts to change the man have failed. Therefore, I will attempt to change the attitude of the customers, with whom I come in contact with.

You're right about putting this message on the site, though. Perhaps doing that as opposed to removing the banner would be a happy medium. I'm honestly fed up. I'm done. My will has been broken, in the matter. I will warn the customers, of the dangers, I will fulfill my obligatory responsibility to my employer. And that's all. This was enjoyable for a moment. The enjoyment has been completely stripped away, with all this BULLSHIT. I feel some just want this site to fail for some reason, in spite of honest (albeit unintelligent) business practices, and I wish I could figure out why. I'm done trying. I'm done fighting over it. The juice ain't worth the squeeze.

I have just one thing to add. I read you say SF says that 30% of sales come from overseas where things are different. 100% of people using PayPal would be buying from countries where steroids are illegal, if they lived in a country where steroids are legal they would simple walk down to the store and buy them.

There are very few countries where steroids are legal.

Iran
Mexico
Panama
Greece
Poland
Ukraine
India
Pakistan
Japan

There are a couple more but he laws are gray, I would bet the house you have no customers from those countries. He's not telling you the truth.
