I have a training log started if anyone wants to check on my training. Today is day 1 of anavar. Taking 5mg until Sunday then will bump up to 10mg for 4 weeks then taper down to 5mg for week six. This is MY VERY FIRST CYCLE - so I will be doing 6 weeks on, then 6 weeks off. I'll post updates on side effects as I notice them (or a lack thereof). I train the big 3 and add in accessory work that will help me in the next strongman competition. I compete as an open lightweight strong(wo)man. Events change with EVERY competition so for my next one I've added press movements and will be adding in some heavy carries.
 
Just wait til you see your numbers sky rocket in a matter of weeks....it's an addicting feeling for those of us that lift competitively!
For instance, my squat went up 40 lbs in 3 wks...probably why my knees are hating me right now:eek:

Just hoping this is a weird coincidence--but I was woke up by a text message shortly after midnight. When I woke up I noticed it was hard to swallow. One of my tonsils (yes I still have mine) was incredibly swollen. I also had a dull ache DEEP in my ear on the same side. I gargled with salt water to try and open up my throat and put some prescription ear drops in the ear and went back to bed. When I got up at 6 the swelling in my throat had gone down considerably and the ear ache was gone. I still have a sore throat, but nothing to go to the doctor for. I attempted a workout (deadlifts) but kept getting sharp pains in my temple after a lift. Topped out at only 225 and didn't do anything else. Hopefully this is just a short bug and not some sort of reaction to the var.

I personally have not have it Labmaxed yet (still waiting on it) however with Labmax being a bare minimum when it comes to testing...even with a Labmax I would not give it a "good to go" nor would I really give ANY UGL Anavar a "good to go".

If anyone thinks that what they are getting is only Oaxamdrolone in there, they are dead wrong and a little stupid....(mainly stupid).
 
@vickster23 would you say it was hard to breathe? The ear a be has nothing to do with any of that but your throat "closing up" has me quite concerned.

I swear, I'm so fed up with this UGL bullshit. Never again.
 
More like difficult to swallow. Nasal passages were clear. My tonsil on the one side was HUGE. It happened 18 hrs after my first dose so I don't think logically that it was an allergy. I've just had a sore throat today so I may have just prematurely panicked! I did take another half dose today and all is well so far.

Unfortunately there isn't a lot of options but UGL unless you're fortunate enough to have a real understanding doctor.

So what else do you think is in there if it's not just Oxandrolone? Cause I got 3 cases of var coming to me right now

Peronsally, my theory is that all the UGL stuff is about 50% Anavar (and that's from the bigger name brand guys, don't even want to know what the smaller guys are doing) then the rest is a mix of Whinny/Dbol...all the cheap shit that gives similar results, but are quite inadequate pharmaceutical-wise. Again, just my theory.
But it certainly isn't 98% or whatever other bullshit numbers they want to give you. The real stuff is expensive for a reason. It's a very complicated chemical compound and the resources to produce it are expensive. So why would something like that cost $50-$100 for 100 pills worth?
 
Ok guys, day 3 - no more weird issues with my throat. I'm OK! It was just some sort of bug that had unfortunate timing. I'm impatient so fighting the urge to bump up to 10mg already....but not going to. Plan on moving up starting Sunday. No sides (positive or neg) that I can tell. Went back to deadlifts today since I consider yesterday to be a fail. Worked up to 225 x 3 but bar slipped so I didn't get the 5 reps I was shooting for. Went up to 245 - chalked - and only got 1 clean rep. I could have done more ugly ones but decided to drop the weight instead and did another set at 225. Deads are still feeling "heavier" than the week before my strongman comp. Moved to bench and did MUCH better. Did 110x5 for 3 sets with a pause. They felt "lighter" than they have in a long time. Still challenging but no form or bar speed breakdown. I'll definitely be going for 115 on Friday. Finished off with pullups/chin ups 3, 2, 1.
 
Going to keep my training over in the training log - but I will note anything cycle related here. Started week 2 on Sunday and bumped up to a full 10mg dose (5mg am/pm). No negative side affects noted. Up until today I was also going to say no positive changes either BUT I went pretty damn hard yesterday at strongman training. Normally I have to keep Monday's workout pretty light due to overall fatigue in my body. I would have to say that I woke up to MUCH LESS fatigue that normal for a Monday. I was able to bench and OHP normally. The back squat would have really told me a story but unfortunately my upper back/lower neck area is incredibly sore from yoke squats at well over my max normal squat. I worked up to 135x5 but the bar hurt so dang bad on my back that I had to bail for front squats which are quite a bit lower than my back squat. I've never really consistently worked on them. I just got up to 135x2 on the front.
 
OK since upping my dose to 10mg (I put on 2lbs in a week on 5mg)I've put on half a pound a day!!!! I'm eating maintenance. Is this normal?! I wouldn't freak out but I have a weight class to make and I'm now 3 lbs over. I generally stay 2 lbs under so I can eat my face off prior to a comp. I have a comp July 11. Should I cut calories? @smashfit or anyone?

You should not add much weight on var...

Not to sound like a dick but that's 100% inaccurate. Maybe something got lost in translation though, since this is communication via the Internet. Dbol certainly has a tendency to put on an increase in water weight, which is maybe what you meant and maybe what @vickster23 is asking about as well?

However, Oaxandrolone was literally created to put weight & lean muscle mass on HIV/AIDS patients so it most certainly will make you put on weight. Now, whether you have that bloated vs lean look could be speculation for whether it's Dbol or Anavar.
Personally, I think ALL UGL "Anavar" has either Whinny/Dbol in it....how much % it is is a whole different story.

Vick, I usually put on between 6-10 lbs per cycle (right now I've gained 8 lbs) without much effort really. Some days I eat a LOT, and others it's just not possible with work.
What's the next weight class up? I would consider doing it because I gain weight like that *snaps* on cycle...usually in the first 4 weeks....could be because I'm so excited and I work out like a fiend so I eat like one too Lol.

Try fasted cardio in the AM (and an overall increase in carido) if that doesn't work, try cutting calories 2 weeks out......if that doesn't work.....try taking Adderall Lol! Kidding...sort of...not really.
