I have tried many times to set up a bitcoin account and every time I get to the link your bank account page I stop. You don't have to link anything. You can use your debt card, but if that bothers you then buy a prepaid visa and use that. Once you buy them you can send them to a private wallet. From there no one can track it. Also, there are tons of bitcoin sites that let you buy them in different ways. Cash, PayPal, amazon gift cards, even Starbucks cards lol. It all depends on what the seller calls for. But if you don't wanna do that circle is the easiest option. You buy directly from them.

Well, thank you for clarifying that up, perhaps its just me. I'm European and have mostly used coinbase for me purchases , I find it much more expensive than most payment methods. The exchange rate doesn't seem to change THAT MUCH to make such difference in the final price. Even if it did, then I am correct to assume that it's always high considering the amount of transactions I have made, thus proving my first argument of it being expensive valid.
