Piedmontese Beef

I got my order the other day but I haven't tried anything except for the hotdogs. I cooked a few for lunch today before lifting and I thought they were great. It was cool to eat something a little different...

The macros are basically the opposite of any other beef hotdog. On MyFitnessPal, typically beef hotdogs are around 20gr fat and 10gr protein. The piedmontese hotdogs are 10gr fat and 20gr protein. It would be fun to make chili dogs with the piedmontese ground beef and everything... they were great, I'm really looking forward to trying the other stuff. I'm curious to try a few other things now, I'm hoping they keep the sale running until a day or so after the 4th.
Those are some good macros right there

I heard about the site pasted below via Chris Bell's Instagram page. I haven't tried their products yet but I had been browsing the website... today I bought several different items because they're having a really good sale for July 4th, significantly cheaper than I buy grass fed beef locally. I forgot to use it but, Chris has a discount code "carnivore" that is probably still active for non grass finished beef. (another 20% off)

Wanted to pass it along... I've never done the online meat thing but if I can buy in bulk and take advantage of these kind of deals I will be a repeat customer.

The beef is very lean, and supposedly has a great depth of flavor. I'm slightly skeptical because most of beef's flavor comes from the fat content... this is super lean, so we'll see.

My grandfather was a butero, and raised these cattle on the Italian pianura. It is outstanding beef. It will be beefier tasting, like a dry aged steak. American palates prefer bland meat.

Have you ever had Hebrew National hotdogs? If you have, how do these compare in taste to the HN’s?

I had the ground beef today and I would concur, it's got a great depth of flavor. The beefy taste is really the part that saves it from being so lean.

I love filet mignon but they were just way too expensive considering I can get good filets here for cheaper... but I'm tempted to pick a few up now for beef tartare and/or a special occasion. The Ribeyes would also be interesting considering they're typically so fatty.

I'm sure I have but I can't remember well enough to make a comparison... I can tell you that my girl and I both loved them. We hardly eat hot dogs either... she's German so it's bratwurst or GTFO. They also take all of 10 min to defrost and cook.

I wanted to update for the guys that were curious about this company.

I have tried most of the steaks, ground beef and the hotdogs at this point.

I'll cut right to the chase, this is the only beef I buy now. The flat irons are probably my favorite. I can microwave them at work the next day and they are still ridiculously tender. I wasn't big on the flank steaks I tried last night, but they were still fine... Just not nearly as tender as expected but I think I accidentally cut with the grain and made them a bit tougher.

Other than that, I highly highly recommend. This has made a vertical esque diet ridiculously fun. The carnivore code is still good and it's basically my ace in the hole because the beef is a bit expensive until you knock 20% off.

Thanks for the update! Gonna look into them now.

Thanks Eman. Sounds like all is well with you and yours. Happy to hear it. :D
