Possible abscess? Getting worried.

So I am going into my 4th week of my first cycle running Just test c pinning weds and Sunday. I tried pinning the vg it was good the first time i pinned the other side ( left) it was fine and then it was so nice that i went back to the right side ( which felt healed) and pinned again. That was 6 days ago. It has swollen up to a nice hard lump and spread to just above my ass crack. Its sensitive from vg to tail bone. When should i really start to worry? Ive had worse reactions but never one that spread like this. Amy input helps. Thank in advanced brothers.

Is it hot to the touch? Redness? Itchy? Are you running a fever? Sorry bout the questions just trying to pinpoint what's going on. Could be just swollen from the oil but I've never had that happen so I couldn't tell you exactly. Anyone ever had this?

ive had a few times where the pip spread from injection site to tailbone area...it went away...if its not hot to touch and red I wouldnt be concerned as long as it doesnt last long...Ive had pip for 5-6 days before also....

I've had pip that turned bad. Some amoxicillin seemed to help me out. I keep it handy now. Fish flox

Its hot im sick but i think it's the weather. My temp is a steady 98 degrees. Its a bit red.

No streak or anything. It doesn't stay compressed when i push on it. It doesn't hurt as bad as pip i had a few weeks ago.

I had injection pain that was so bad once I couldn't even lift my arm. I went to the doc in the box and he used a handheld ultrasound. It turns out I hit a pocket between the muscle fiber where the oil just sat. (Luckily I had been to the same doctor a week before and received a cortisone shot, so it was blamed on that). He gave me antibiotics and Valium to relax at night.

As hunterbro said, it's good to keep antibiotics on hand. Anytime I get them, I always put a couple to the side for just in case moments.

Back to your situation, just keep an eye on it and remember a trip to the doctor is better than a few days in the hospital. You don't want to explain that to everyone!

Is the vg virgin muscle to you? Remember that if it is sometimes the body can react to the oil, my first time pinning the delt it swelled so bad and red it was noticeably bigger than the other one.

On another note, does anybody know anything about antibiotics and aas usage? how do one affect the other? out of curiosity.

Although some of the doctors on here will probably frown at this, check and see if you have some buddies that have extra antibiotics laying around from when they were sick. Assuming you know you aren't allergic to anything. I know people say not to self medicate...but all of here already are!

My shorts are way down in the pic. I found my vg by locating the greater trochanter and reaching up towards the iliac crest using a cut out of my hand. Its what seemed right from all the sites Ive checked.

My man... totally my mistake I took a quick look at the pic and honestly dont even know why I interpreted it was somewhere else. Haha keep it updated man... massage the area with hot water and keep track of your temp.

I bought a thermometer last night. I'm really cautious of any sicknesses while in cycle. And i think what i had was test flu. Its gonna be gone by tomorrow. Ive never been sick for only days. If it was an abcess i think I'd be sick longer right?

If it was an abcess think of it as an ifection, as long as you have it you'd be showing signs of rejection from your body.

Thats what i would think. I'm gonna wait it out for a bit. If the swelling doesn't start to subside in a few days I'll go to the ER.

How deep did you go? The VG can take a 1.5. I've had a couple reactions like that but it was a long time ago when I first got started. These tend to show up if you don't go deep enough or you get in between muscles an it runs on you. Had one run down the side of my quad and harden up. Took about 5-6 days to go away. Has it gone down in swelling at all since you pinned?
