Post up your Natty IGF-1 Level

58M - 180lbs

Last month i posted my initial IGF of 187

After 4 weeks of 2IU and 4 days of 2.5 had panel done and IGF is up to 447
That’s an excellent result - really solid jump in IGF-1. I’ve been wondering, though, how long can someone safely maintain that elevated IGF-1 level? Would staying in that 400+ range for 3–6 months potentially cause any serious issues for the body, or is it generally considered safe for that duration?

Good question, i need to do a little research on this and see. High levels are obviously associated with acromegaly but i need to do some reading on what that looks like as far as numbers go. I’m already at such a low dose of hgh not sure what i will do if my research leads me to where i need to back off for extended periods

I honestly didn’t expect this kind of result from 3.2iu before bed. I’m thinking of lowering the dose to 2iu to get back into the 250–300 range. Anyone have advice on what to do in this case - should I stick with it or drop the HGH dosage?

Forgot to mention - been on HGH for 2.5 months now. The last 14 days have been at 3.2iu, and before that it was 2iu. Also, A1c is 4.9, glucose is 74, and insulin is 7.

Your results are like mine, thinking of backing down to 2iu myself. Guess we are good responders lol

TL;DR,, this was my recent igf1 taken this month, No baseline igf1 to go off unfortunately,, The first set of numbers is on 4 ius daily of Hgh not sponsered by any board, but Jano tested at 97% no dimer so it was good,,
The dip in the igf1 number was when i switched to QSC hgh and upped to 5 iu daily, i then got a slight increase of igf1 as well as my z score increased, big deal right,
I have quite a few pokers in the fire as far as "procedures upcoming", but in the near future, i want to get some "Adreanal Function Tests" If anyone has a recommendation on those type of testing , i would appreciate some insight,, TIA

i am wondering if i have some sort of adrenal gland problem, causing my lower igf1 score,

I don't quite believe what the serum IGF-1 test dictates. Everyone says it's not that accurate and the only real way to measure IGF is by doing a biopsy in muscle tissue (which i believe is something you want to avoid when you're still alive lol).

Chase Irons is a living proof taking 18 IU Serostim a day and his IGF if i recall right was under 200, but the changes were very very prominent.

Same with guys taking 2-3 IU and getting a test of 400+. I mean, if 2-3 IU doubles your baseline IGF score then improvement might be significant, right? I don't think i've known someone exploded by 2-3 IU's so yeah, i won't even bother doing a test.

216 on 3 IU (previous result) and 215 on 4-5 IU (current result) suggest a poor responder.

Two things: we know calorie deficit decreases IGF1; and you're "post-obese" (ex-fatty). Maybe despite being in weight maintenance, there are still certain aspects of your biology that behave like they're in a deficit.

On the bright side, there are IGF1-independent benefits of hGH.

214 was basal IGF-1 test 2024 feb before Secretagogue use
272 was IGF-1 after 4 months of 2mg Tesa at night, and 150mcg Cjc-1295 /250 mcg Ipam morning (all XCE.) in June. (I bought CJC and wanted to finish it)
203 was after restarting 2mg low purity QSC Tesa in Oct after stopping Secretagogues for 3 months starting August (due to severe allergic reaction to Tesa).
191 was after 4 months on 1.4-2mg QSC Tesa and 200mcg Ipam

Read a bit more on CJC studies and saw that research subjects were on doses as high as 6mg/dose, so I decided to slowly escalate starting end of Feb. Did 2mg CJC/200mcg Ipam daily for 2 weeks

2 mg/d CJC is high. I think 6 mg/dose is referencing once weekly dosing. Interesting.
