Powders, AAS, For 16 Yr. Old

hey, i am 16 and a half, and i was wisely advised not to take AAS till i am like 20-25, and/or am done growing etc.

well, i need other supplements, etc, legal, or none, whichever doesnt hinder Puberty, and my growing etc.

i currently take only creatine, liek 5 or 10 ml, before and after my workout.

whatelse is highyl recomended, legal or illegal, anything.

At least you're 16 1/2... that's quite a bit older than just 16. The advice you were given not to take steroids at that tender age was good. So if you came here looking for AAS in despite of that, good luck on trying to get it. I say that because your thread title says "Powders, AAS, for 16 yr old". Then, you say "...legal or illegal, anything".

You pretty much have answered your own question already... stick to the creatine (10 grams/day, not milliliters), protein powders, and lots of food.

what type of protien powder? and how much.

my bro uses protein powder for his hockey training, and its liek banana flavored, protein isolate or sumthin. his trainer is the most riped guy i have ever seen so i assume it is good cuz he bought it off him.

and is it ok to just take a 5g shot of creatine (powder) and then jus wash it down with water? or is it better to mix it in a shake or sumthing? same with the protein


and the eating? do u mean eat TONSSS of healthy shit, like Subway, and fruitsalads, and sandwhiches etc. or do u mean just EAT tonsss in general, like even lots of mcdonalds and burgers anbd fries and icecream and shit etc.

je, Im glad to see that you have found Meso and are hopefully willing to listen to the advise of the guys on this board.

I have 3 main suggestions for you.
1) Spend 50% of your time in the training forum.
2) Spend the other 50% of your time in the nutrition forum.
3) Spend 0% (zero) of your time in any other forum on this site.

At your age and development, you will achieve 100x more by listening to the words in the training and nutrition forums that by looking for a shortcut or quick fix. Once in those forums, read the sticky threads and then ask questions.

i dont really need a shitload of guidance, my dad helps me, he used tooo be hugeeee, but he tore his hernia, twice, so now he cant do any stomach related excersizes, but he has big arms and chest and neck still so that helps, and i have a couple Weider books etc.

i have good discipline, i force myself to work out everyday.

now can u please answer my questions in my previous post?

Whey protein powder is best. I use concentrate, because pure isolate is expensive.

You bro's trainer is "ripped" because he has low bodyfat, which has nothing to do with what kind of protein he uses. That's because of eating properly... which relates to your last question... no, you don't want to be eating alot of McDonalds burgers, fries, etc, because you'll gain mostly fat.

As far as creatine goes, I personally like Muscletech's Cell Tech. Use 5g twice a day mixed in water, on an empty stomach. In my opinion, you should never take creatine along with protein. Along with a carb drink is fine though. And drink alot of water daily.

je, Bob summed it up best. Do what he says in his 3 main suggestions, because you have so much to learn that it would take a heck of alot of typing to tell you all you need to know. You simply need to do lots and lots of research. That's what I had to do when I was your age, 18 years ago :D I just wish I had a Meso like this back then.

yeh man, he is hugeeee, he played in the NHL, but he was just too big for hockey, he trains lots of NHLers..

but when do u recomend taking the protein and how many g's?

i usely work out between the hours of 7 and 12 at night. i usely have to do my arms at around 11, and go to bed at around 12 or 1, becuase for sum reason i do not get as good a burn if i do not.

so thats 5 g before and 5 g after work out.
should i tkae the protein right before i go to bed or what?

Protein consumption is usually about 1g per pound of body weight. So figure that out on how ever much you weigh Try and get about 30-40g per shake couple times a day. I"d run with 30g 3 times a day for you and you can get the rest of your protein from Red Meat/ Chicken Tuna etc... Hope that helps.
 
But it also depends on which protein you get. I'd stick to Whey Concentrate cause its cheap. Isolate is finer and more expensive but mixs better
 
i have isolate, and i only take liek 30g a day.
hoyl shit, iw ay liek 150, so i have to take 150g a day! shittt.

and yeh it is so fine, liek i dumped liek 15 g in my mouth and drank sum water, it felt like pudding or sumthing wqas in my mouth, it mixed so well with teh water

crazy, my creatine doesnt even dissolve in water.

Also, the questions that you have asked have been answered dozens of times in the training and nutrition forums. Read all the stickies in those forums and I would suggest only posting in those two forums.

Two more suggestions...
1) Never read anything that Weider has ever published
2) Never buy or read muscle magazines, unless you just want the pictures. The information is garbage. You will find real-world information in the two forums I have mentioned. Some of that info is from a top nutrition researcher, a pro and Olympic level strength coach, as well as top notch powerlifters and some excellent competitive bodybuilders among others that are just plain smart and experienced.

You will find 2-3 basic workout plans that will suit your goals and provide the stimulus for you to grow like a weed on Miracle Grow. One is called HST, another is the 5x5 method, and the third is Dual-Factor Hypertrophy Training (DFHT). All three are incredible programs for getting people to grow in record time, drug-free.

Also, at your age, the only supplement you need, besides a decent multivitamin, is protein.

Whey Concentrate $ Isolate $$ Hydrolysate $$$ - those are the purities and what they will cost. Whey is fast digesting so take pre/post workout or times when you need recovery quickly.

Use casein (milk/dairy) protiens when you know you'll be going a relatively long period of time without a meal ie) before going to sleep. Casein is slower digesting.

Creatine monohydrate and phosphate are two of the most common forms and will work for you just fine. Stay away from liquid creatine because its probably unstable. Still don't think they really found REAL shelf life for it. Mix creatine with some type of sugar/carb drink like juice, NOT orange juice though.

Wieder is not all bad you just have to wade through the bullshit.

Yeah, that's what it does seem like. I mean I feel like I'm in Romper Room with this kid. His terminology is very childish... "thanks a fuckload" and "cya"??? And who the hell trains at 11:00 at night??? I'd be like like a zombie the next day if I trained that late.

I should have been finished with this thread after my first post. It sounds like this kid is too immature to even be expecting results from working out... but using steroids too???... a definite joke.
