Does anyone know who might still be holding onto one of the discontinued 130lb expansion kits for the power block elite dumbbells? Or maybe someone in here might be will to sell theirs

Yep. I've pretty much given up finding the expansion pack. I'm a machinist therefore I'll just measure it out and make my own it'll be made out of stainless steel instead of cold rolled steel like powerblock uses.

I really like the powerblocks, I've had the bowflex selecttechs but the power blocks are way more durable and practical since they are 2 miles long like the bowflex adjustables

Definitely can't drop the select techs. I've had to repair mine a couple times.

I have the Bowflex Selecttech 552's which are 52.5lbs each and yes they are fragile. Bought these for $350 at a private sale...chipped one of the end plates already.

These things are pretty big too, like 18" long and are as big as the 90's at the gym.

Its a pretty easy fix to replace the plates.

Figured they'd be easy to replace if needed. Going to find a replacement plate as damaged the end one on one of the dumbbells.

I see the Stage 1 and 3 on offerup.com, but not the one you're looking for. Might be worth watching, though.

I grabbed a set of the 50 pounders pre-covid for $230 and I love them. Space is at a premium in my little garage gym setup.
Prices have fucking skyrocketed on them now though, I wouldn't pay $4-600 as I see Amazon asking for my same set.
They are very sturdy but if you are one who slings and drops dumbbells all the time even these wont last.

That's a steal for those as I've seen them for $850 new for the 90lb set...fuck that. Even the Selecttech's by Bowflex like the ones I have have gone way up in price thanks to Covid. These are now very hard to find.

I have the 70 pound add-ons ordered, should be here in August. I could only afford them because they in packaging that is ' slightly damaged'. Hopefully I get something that works.

Well in still looking for the 120lb add on and obviously covid didnt help my quest not one little bit lol. I do lots of dumbbell work and I guess if I want to get up to 120lbs I'm gonna have to buy singles.
