pre workout stims

If I do natty cut, I use EC stack and it gives me a nice boost in the gym , but with AAS, you don't need anything, you are "boosted" enough already :p
 
I try to stay away from vasoconstrictors before or during workout. Many stims are constrictors and some have both constrictors and dilators (which has always struck me as strange).

I usually make my own drink before workout with BCAA's, creatine, niacin and a few other things.
 
If you're not in ketosis and have the free glucose in your blood, caffeine ephed does pretty good.
It doesn't really increase lifting energy, but it sure does keep you from sitting down too long between workouts. One keeps buzzing along. But the combo is also hard on BP and may lead to shortage of breath (at least for those of us over 150 years old).

What about MACA? Aside from being a sexual stimulant, it's said to increase lift energy. (I've never noticed much difference.)

your body will build a tolerance to stimulates. I like to take BCAA's, AAKG, Beta Alanine, and Glutamine. I thought it was a great pre workout combo. I wouldn't get the lactic acid burn.
if you are taking any oral be careful with the glutamine and liver. They tout it as good for the liver but studies have shown it can fuck with you. I was going through heavy liver inflammation about 2 years ago and by process of elimination I found out it was the glutamine and then did some research on it. It's also proven to be pretty much useless now anyways.

what I found was you have to take glutamine in higher doses, cause your body will use glutamine for other functions before muscle building if you are not taking enough.
 
I have build a sensitivity to caffiene so had to shut down all pre workouts and coffee in general other then once a day which is typically mornings to help me get off. My workout efficiency had improved too since I've let go if ore workout stimulants. I used to have such a dependency on them that I wouldn't workout without any and would even have to time my metabolism to correspondence with my workout. Total psycho but I was an extremist younger days when starting to lift. Now that I care less of a fuck it's when I've made my best gains.

Wow, this is me exactly! Tolerance sucks :( In my case, I either don't feel a damn thing or I just get jittery as fuck and feel sick when I workout, there is no happy medium lol

Good music works the best for me, if you are on a cycle the CNS stimulation from the gear will be enough and stims won't affect you the same way.

Totally agree with this, I am like a different person in the gym when I don't have my music to listen to, Obviously its just a mental thing but on days where I forget or don't charge my ipod, i just don't have the same drive in the gym
