What are your current short-term goals strength and weight wise? I'm a little behind here.

Short term i just want to continue to keep cutting down to about 250lbs while maintaining/gaining as much strength as possible. When i get down to that 250 ballpsrk i am just going to see what im looking like and reasess from there. Of course the main goal is still to be getting stronger but at the same time i do want to look like less of a fat fuck hahaha. Not planning on using anymore gear for a while, even though that last cycle worked out pretty well i think i kind of jumped the gun on it, so im just gonna be going at it natty for awhile.

I hear you. I hate cutting, too. It's hard for me to consider weight loss as progress when I'm getting weaker.

You'd probably do best to just suck it up and accept some strength loss and cut the weight quickly. The strength would come back pretty fast later.

Yeah i mean ive kind of come to terms with the fact thats its just going to have to happen. Diets getting progressively better, limiting carbs to strictly before workout for the most part, getting a little better every week at staying away from shit i dont need so im on the way down there haha.

Did back and a little ab work

1.Deadlifts with band
Warmup 135x20 no band
10x3 135lb plus band
10x3 185lb plus band

2.wide lat pulls
4x10 160lb

3.HS iso row machine neutral grip
4x10 3 plates per side

4.lat pushdowns
2x10 60lb
2x8 70lb

5.bent over rows underhand grip
4x12 135lb

6.crunch machine
10x10 60lb resistance

Good workoutl. Bamd pulls were a little awkward at first and forced me to have a little bit of a narrowed stance but once i got used to it they felt really good and the weight was moving pretty fast. The band i used was like an inch wide maybe a little more, definitely some good resistance though. Took some videos here. The first one is my first set at 185 and the second set in the video is my last set at 185.

That band technique looks similar to something else I've seen before . Looks good bud, the band work will help tons with your speed off the floor for sure. Focus on the explosive push off the floor and make sure to hit the full lockout every time just like you are in the video. People tend to cheat on their speed work around the 6-7th set and don't fully lockout. Good work man keep it up and you'll be flying past all your PRs in no time

I was at 297 36%bf 9 months ago. I dropped down to 246 but lost a lot of muscle and strength. Got put on trt about 4 months ago. Every bit of the muscle and some from awhile ago has come back. I'm now sitting at 257 at 26% according to calipers at the gym. I guess what I'm trying to say is the muscle memory shit is real. Came back quick for me.

I learnt it from a video a deadlifting bear showed me. No really.

Yeah thank you man, i think its definitely going to help out alot, it really forces you to move quicker cuznif you slow down that band is just gonna snap right back to the floor.

People who dont locl out their deadlifts make me sick. Everytime someone does a half rep a baby sea otter gets trapped in a plastic 6 pack ring and dies, and i aint about to have that on my conscience
