I’m not sure if I should take action based on a PSA change in my blood work - I’m 42 yrs old, 8 weeks into cycle. PSA went up by +0.91 from 0.48 to 1.39 between November and January blood tests. I’m not aware of any prostate cancer in my family but obviously don’t want to f up my prostate. Historically my PSA sits around 0.40 in the past 2 years of blood tests. I know this is well below the 4.0 PSA reference range, but the sudden jump still catches my attention. Everything else is pretty much in range other than LDL at 167
Does anyone else have experience with PSA jumping? Does it go back down after cycle or permanent? Any other risks or indications by this?
Some cycle info - November 11 blood test with 0.48PSA was still running 200mg test/week TRT+ and starting December 4 started 200mg Test E every 4 days + 140mg NPP/week with a 30mg anavar between Dec 30 and Jan 26. I’ve also been taking 400 IU HCG and .1 anastrazole every 4 days for the past year with the trt+. Prior to TRT+ my regular trt is 100mg/week,
I know I should’ve done the blood tests without adding the anavar to accurately isolate which compounds were in effect when I got the results and I regret it now but know better.
Any and all advice is welcomed and appreciated.
Thank you
