Yes they do and they also flag senders as well. I used to use MG for many transactions until they started to ask unusual questions and even refused to send a transfer one time.

i once had a guy at a MG outlet ask me if i was born in the US...?

Not sure why that would matter?
i'm a pasty white boy, for fucks sake. :D

Every other time was business as usual.

Yeah i used to use MG all the time i preferred it actually, i felt like they were easier to deal with. Then at the end of last year they just started asking me questions about my transactions and why i was sending money. They started checking my ID as well to make sure i wasn't using a false name which they never did before, it was another reason why i preferred them. Then they just flat out declined my transaction and i never used them again.

If I am ever asked why I am sending money I always say that we had a foreign exchange student that moved back and cant pay his rent, so far works like a charm they have all bought the story.

WU lost a 580 million dollar money laundering lawsuit and are reporting all transactions to the government now. They cracked down on MG too, so use at your own risk.

That's crazy I didn't know that , you can definitely tell something happened recently because every other time I use one of them in the last month or 2 my transaction gets flagged (not so much wu as mg) ... And to top it off I built up a nice limit on my bitcoin then the pricks banned my debit card because the bank stopped a transaction because of "risky spending patterns" whatever the hell they mean by that . so now I have to start over with a new card number lol ... When it rains it pours , just let a guy buy his damn gear peace :D

localbitcoins.

localbitcoins.

The atm's ? Yeah its an option , but the damn service charge is outrageous if your buying a sizeable amount of coin ! I just bought another pre paid debit , but even if you link your id it only gives you a 500$ limit until start making some transactions ... But hey , its just an excuse to start buying things I don't need lol

localbitcoins.com doesn't have ATMs, as far as I am aware.

it's a peer to peer service working on assumption, that if you want some BTC there's probably somebody else nearby who wants cash for their BTC. I have extremely good experience with it and you can oft find rates at market price

Ahhh gotcha I thought you you were talking about the actual atm 's. I'll have to look into that , it actually sounds like a really good option , thank you my man !!

I usually buy btc on coinbase then send them to my offline wallet (electrum) then I send them to the source. This prevents places from tracking where you send the coins, and trust me these coin services are keeping track of things. Bitcoin price s becoming more accepted everywhere and governments are devising ways to track and tax it, just look at the requirements New York has if you want to sell bitcoins. Stay smart guys.

I'm always surprised to hear people's problems with MoneyGram and Western Union. Been using them for years and never had any idiot at Walmart or the check cashing place raise an eyebrow. Some guys are just lucky I guess. Must be my boyish charm and devilish good looks.;):D

I used to go to the food lion in the ghetto. They don't give a fuck. Lol

I always go to Walmart for moneygram. Never had an issue.

Western Union has me blacklisted, I think. My last 3 transactions were denied. It had nothing to do with the receiver.
