Why is it whenever a UGL fucks up, the lab or paid associate comes running and says even pharmaceutical companies fuck up? Its a rediculous comparison. @Surfj9009 you have only been here a short time, but sooner or later you will open your eyes to the games UGL's play. You will realize we act like this to hold sources to a higher standard. A standard for an oil we are injecting into our bodies. We want an environment where only the best survive, the industry is filled with mediocracy and garbage. We want the cream of the crop. That's great. I've been here a few weeks. I joined when I ordered my first PPL products a few weeks back, before all this shit came to light. Your buddy may be a great contributor to MESO, but my point was that he has not contributed anything to this current issue with PPL other than to start a riot and bash anybody who questions him or calls him out on his ignorant broscience.

When this person got on here and told me to get the fuck out of here.....and that I was full of shit because .02 whatmans are made to filter viruses, which they are not....I felt compelled to correct this as it is misleading to people who do not understand virology or microbiology. Where are the pics of the set up he said he would post?

Where is the announcement on other boards he said he would do?

I'm simply holding ppl accountable while you are backing ppl and praising him. Once he gets the things he said he would do done then I'll be more tame in here. But until then I will be present and ensure ppl doesn't forget what they have done.

And I don't take anything personal my friend.

Does not change the fact that heat will kill more of these than a filter will........and that using heat AND a filter is easy and the best practice you can expect from the average guy sitting at home with questionable product.

So us guys who have been just filtering our gear for the past 20+ years have what, just been lucky so far lol? Whatever(IF ANYTHING)gets through the filter it's obviously something our body can take care of or else there would be a shit ton of people getting sick/infections and that's NOT the case.

Fair enough... I'm sure that all any of us really give a shit about in the end anyhow.

One thing I will say that I hope PPL takes into consideration is that any future products should have a lot or batch number. Mine did not, and they should, because if PPL had an issue when they brought this Elite piece of shit in, they would have been able to isolate it to specific batches and customers that his products went to. This would have been a huge asset to customers holding gear and their reputation in this instance. So for the communities sake....I feel this needs to be addressed as well. @PurplePandaLabs Rep. @purplepandalabs

Don't send it for testing. It's a lost cause. If the testing authority can't specifically isolate and test the offending contaminate It's pointless. It's going to be filter membrane from filtering faster than the membrane can handle, imo. I've done it more than a few times. It's easy to do and i will promise you every brewer that has delt with volume has done this. Resolution is easy for a brewer. Just slow down to prevent and when it happens you refilter and absorb the loss of oil. For a consumer? I'd be pissed. This shouldn't hit the market. It's real and probably dosed correctly but dirty is dirty. You can refilter it, trash it or send it for testing. Your choice. I'd be requesting a refund on it personally. If told no I would refilter it, use it and never use the source again. I do not think what you showed is the same type of issue as the domestic line has shown. Not saying it's a non issue but a piece of filter that came off is a much better situation....

These are harsh words coming from me. I've been a fan of Panda and had no problems vocalising that but things are changing. What has transpired over the past week has been nothing short of pathetic. 100% pathetic. Even with the holidays happening this should be getting much more attention form Panda.

but not any kind of heat, it must be heat in form of a dryheat / dryheat sterilizator
combined with proper sterilizing/clean techniques during the whole procedure.
But in our case / homebrewing, using oven with simple heat is useless.

So if someone would want to go overkill:
Filter with 0.22u or 0.1u(good luck with that lol) then autoclave (steam sterilization) or dry heat sterilize.
So how many of us got autoclave or dryheat sterlizator?
We are left with filtering and it works as long as your are not doing it in a filthy bathtub with contaminants all over the place.

So by simply stating that heat will sterilize gear is misleading and broscience, it will not.
