Putting up big ass numbers

    Weight today was 213.8

    Workout was,

    1x3 high bar squats @ 95% (470lbs)
    1x5 pause squats @ rpe 8
    2x5 pause squats @ -10% from above
    1x3 comp bench @ 82% (315lbs)
    3x6 comp bench @ 76% (295lbs)
    3x10 close grip bench @ rpe 9
    20 pull ups
    4x20 facepulls @ rpe 9

    Yesterday was supposed to be my off day. So i didn't get a break in between deadlifts and squats. Still got the weight up without killing myself for a new 3 rep max pr in sleeves.

    Your coach has you doing squats and deadlift the day after a max triple on squats?

    Yeah. They were only like 65%, so it was pretty easy. I don't really see how 4s at 65% can really do much of anything for an adaptation, but i guess maybe the extra work helps with form and keeping the cns efficient at the lift?

    Yeah. I don't really know what their thought process is. They just seemed more intelligent than I am when it comes to powerlifting so I'm just kind of following what they say and will see if I make more results off their programming or mine.

    At least long hours means big pay checks

    It's hard to tell since it's been so soon. I definitely feel like my squat is pretty strong though. Could've had 470 for 5-6 reps yesterday and that was the day after all the deads. It'll be interesting to see how they go next week when i do heavy triples again. I have 485 lined up. If i hit that for a smooth triple I'll be feeling pretty good. Lol. Then I'll just need to hit 385 for 3 on bench. Lol

    4x6 comp bench @ 72% (275)
    4x5 spoto press @ 75% (290)
    4x12 lat pulldown @ rpe 8
    Cable crunch @ rpe 9

    Got a little sick and skipped a couple days last week. Feel a lot better now.

    Apparently squats on thursday I'm supposed to do in wraps. I did them in sleeves all of the last block. Lol. So this time i did them in wraps.

    Just got back home yesterday. Didn't really train as much as I would've liked while I was out of town. But I did get a lot of sun so that was nice. I came back to almost 2' of snow on the ground and it was -16 this morning when I woke up.

    Finally made it through 7 years of es. Which is about the longest I've ever heard of someone being on and not getting revoked. Lol. Also closed on a couple sfh flips. So it was a good day. Closed on a couple deals, got off supervision, hit up a good gym session, then celebrated no es by getting really stoned, eating like shit and banging the GF. Lol

    4x5 2ct. paused bench @ 75% (285)
    4x5 squats @ 75% (370)
    4x5 deadlifts @ 75% (435)

    Taking a couple weeks off squats made those a bit rough. Lol. All the reps moved good, but my legs were fatigued after only two sets. Everything else felt good.
