It’s so true.I would challenge him to allow me to devise his grocery list for one month. He can eat as much as he wants but can only purchase foods from my approved list of mostly lean meats and fresh vegetables. I would be willing to bet they would be unable to gain weight, and could potentially lose weight despite more food volume. Also likely that we would see a marked improvement in their clinical markers.

Dieting is strategic and meant to be oriented to a goal. My low days fill me up just as much as my high days because of food composition. A boatload of eggs and steak versus a little bowl of oatmeal, for example.

But, I am not, and I'm actually okay with losing a bit of fast twitch / top end strength in exchange for better cycling endurance. So, I would kind of welcome the change if it happens? I've always been known as extremely "quick twitch" something that made me special as a defensive lineman; I'm hoping I have a few extra "quick twitch" fibers to spare.
