Still bears the fact that the workplace has gotten soft. Shouldn't have to fear losing your job because people can’t take a joke. Being in the skilled trades & joking around or giving someone shit is how we break up the monotony of the day to day.
As for the DEI BS, you have several recent hires that are unqualified for positions which were awarded to them over others with more merit that we are now stuck with. Those are the ones that will go to HR because we give them a basic task they should have learned in the first year of their apprenticeship, and claim we are picking on them when it’s just part of the job. So now we feel uncomfortable to give this individual instruction on a job in fear of losing our jobs for “harassment” it’s just bad for morale of the employees that actually get shit done.
What I’m saying is, the two go hand in hand. Not arguing that they are not two different things.
