Not seeing anything beyond "counterfeit goods" in any of the follow-up articles on this bust.

It may have no direct connection to gear, but, what it may have done is revealed the techniques used by other smuggling groups, especially the fake seals. It's unlikely these were the only ones doing this, just the ones who got caught.

The focus did seem to be more on counterfeit retail goods and not as much on illicit drugs or chemical precursors. I can't imagine a presser not mentioning those is there was anything found.

Well, our experiences differ. As an experiment, I purchased Home, Away and third Stadium kits circa 2023. Also bought replicas to play pick up games with. Material was freaking the same. The only difference was the printed Patches. Essentially the £35 extra for genuine patches.
Maybe I should have shipped the material to Jano for testing

Maybe I should add the context that when comes to football (soccer) Jerseys there is the Match Kit A.k.a Authentic (that players wear), then there is the Stadium jersey which the fans wear and is about $40-$50 less. Then there is the Reps which are essentially same fabric as the stadium jersey and minus custom patches costs about $50-$55 less
