I was convinced I could swim a mile as a workout when I was a teenager. I got maybe 25 yards in before giving up. It took me 5 minutes to go that 25 yards because I kept sinking. To this day, I can’t float or tread water and I swim every week with a swim coach. If I stop swimming, I sink a few feet below the surface, and as air leaves my lungs, I go straight to the bottom. So I am in awe of anybody who can swim across the border, especially if they’re going against the current. That shit is HARD.
Theres a movie that was based near where i grew up called "Frozen river" This woman smugled illegals over the river into the mohawk reservation. Alot died along the way carrying kids and infants.

I cant really swim and probably sink myself lol I think the worst part about my drunken dad childhood memory was that I'm terrified of deep water. Sharks and big fish and whatever else down there No thank you

There should be some position where you can tread water, some people have to do it face down and grab air as their body kind of bobs up and down, but yeah some people are sinkers, I think it’s genetic. Most people are floaters and will stay above water.

People definitely have different density. In competition, I am always trying to figure out who my opponent is while I am waiting in the bullpen. I am actually not good at that at all.

I also made this kid step on the scale after class one time. He was short and fat but felt like a brick. Said he was like 205. I was probably 220-225. Sure enough 205. I still don’t understand it.

Now I know little guys can make themselves feel heavy with good technique but this guy sucked at jujutsu.

Face down is definitely easier, and I can maintain it for maybe 2 minutes. But it has to be in perfect conditions, so if a lap swimmer gets into the pool and starts making waves, it’s all over lol. So far my only hope is swimming in circles, but that is also basically controlled drowning where I’m constantly fighting to stay buoyant. I have a lot of friends who are swim coaches, and they are stumped, but at least I can swim several hundred yards now without stopping. Progress!

A well worn route from the airport to empty stretches of borderlands of Northern NY, Vermont, and New Hampshire. Going up to visit you could see it everywhere.
Was going to tell a very funny (and recent) story regarding this but started to feel like it was a bit too specific.

Long story short, that Northern border is hilariously porous. I had an unexpected need to get from our upstairs neighbors back to the states in a hurry and not at the timeline the consulate would allow, was astonished by how simple it was.

unless you smell like weed and then they rip you out of your car and bend you over in front of the rest of the bridge traffic. Guns and illegals are okay. Marijuana is where they draw the line

I don't think Vigorous Steve has any clients. He charges over $1k per hour. Income primarily from YouTube. That's why he had to move to Thailand, for the low cost of living.
I personally think He is little overboard with thé minute Scientific part, but im 100% He has some clients....He has insane reach on YT, im sure Somebody will pay this money for whatever reason, I just doubt it will be a bodybuilder.

I’ve been learning that good coaches usually take some effort to find. The most promising ones I’ve found were by finding dudes with physiques I liked on IG who compete and finding their coach. So far not a single one is being coached by a YouTube celebrity.
