I wasn't gonna say anything g but I clicked and read about 2 pages of that shit and thought.. what Tha fuck.... made me feel weird.... obviously there is something about that i don't know that makes it makes since............ but I don't want to know!!! If it makes em happy!!!!!!
I mean it's his log, it's his territory whatever floats his boat xD but I do agree with the analysis done before about that we need to be careful in not promoting reckless behaviour for the youngster that come here lurking around.

Man, protecting kids thinking about AAS is a tough cookie. They are going to find information somewhere, so how can you balance that correctly???
It’s a good question and probably how people justify leaving it out in the open. I can’t say definitively that one is right and the other isn’t because harm reduction practices definitely challenge assumptions in many other contexts like heroin usage. That being said in this specific context I think it was given too much attention and would be hard for someone new reading the thread to know if the community was against that behavior.

Now Imagine why those hard assess in gobmint want to keep AAS as far away from everyone as possible. Who's going to do all the policing and harm reduction?

Sort of. But if I post ChatGPT as if it’s my own knowledge that’s more like plagiarism. Are you really smart? Or are you AI smart. A lot of that going on around here. lol
Imo a new type of smart is emerging where people who are both smart and using these tools to ask it the right questions become greater than the sum of their parts. The key to getting good answers out of it is already understanding the domain you are querying about so you ask it the right things.

It's no different from reading a book bruh :D .

Obviously not, but just another source to gather information from. It's up to the consumer to give it proper weight among the other sources used to build a body of knowledge.

But I can certainly see the appeal to idiots. It allows them to dismiss any articulate argument they couldn't comprehend writing as "ChatGPT".

Just like "Google", and "booksmart" before that were the copium of intellectually incurious morons throughout history.

Well if you google up something and read up on it, do you know it or not? lol
Was doing some analysis and got stuck with a code prompt. I asked Chat and it gave me three answers. All three worked. I'm defending my work to the chair-bosses, and I mention the other two paths and why I chose the path I chose, They tell me I'm smart, extend my teams contract.
Should I feel dishonest? It is a tool. It's like shitting on someone for using a chainsaw because other people like to use axes.

For those pretending to be smart solely because of GPT, they won't last beyond 4 comments as they will keep repeatedly getting caught out. They also won't spot where AI is confabulating or hallucinating

Exactly.

I agree , thats why i try and post the screenshots of my information and don't act like it's my personal thoughts or whatever, experiences etc, i learn alot from asking questions To an AI "Because" i then cross reference and seek second opinion etc so its not biased by one AI answer , i hope that made sense i just think some AI are wayy better than others, , i personally like Perplexity AI because you can ask "the question" and get a straight answer without a lot of "fluff" , ,

The "key" is asking the correct questions , then you get the correct answers,, Key Questions

It makes sense. In my mind we are just a bunch of guys trying to figure it all out together. But some people seemed to have everything already figured out…

The other "key" is the ability to know that the answers provided are indeed correct or at the very least modestly defensible. :p
Yeah this is problematic, it works better in contexts where you can verify it immediately like code. Otherwise you have to challenge it a bit and make it cross reference information. I used to be able to ask it for sources and it would give better responses and sources but lately the sources have a link text as one thing and some random unrelated study as the actual link
