Irreducible complexity is a scientific term that means an organism or even something mechanical cannot function as designed without that component.@Throwback respect your beliefs, thanks for sharing.
At most you are a deist not a theist.
The consequence of choosing to worship the wrong God as far as Christianity is concerned is dire, eg infinity torture.
You not only have to choose the correct God, there are thousands, you have to choose the correct denomination, there are thousands.
God's own people reject Christ as son of God. Ya think they would know something?
Jesus does not know the hour, time etc yet Jesus is God.
Christians in particular is the most fragmented major modern religion. Islam has vastly more unity and fewer sects. There are less contradictions in Islam, it is a better written book as far as coherence goes.
So you don't know if you got the right God what makes you even think the bible is all the word of God?
How do you think the bible was assembled and by who?
How do you know you have interpreted correct. Early Christians slaughtered each other over these questions.
Finally what do you think the purpose of this design was.
Irreducible complexity went to court, the example provided by creationists was demonstrated to be false in court.
The design argument is old and attractive at first glance. Will leave that for now but do please tell me what the purpose of rotovirus is as I already asked you. It targets human infants and kills them by diarrhea, purpose??
When you speak of going to court are you referring to the 1920s scopes case in Tn?
That was hardly a two sided presentation of facts. Today our knowlege of biology genetics and the cellular world are vastly superior.
You ask about rotovirus...i know nothing about it except this. Viruses mutate they also develop resistance to antibiotics etc. This mutation is typically found at a genetic or cellular level. There are certain environmental influences that seem to act upon existing information at a cellular or genetic level which allows the triggering or activation of that existing info allowing an organism to seemingly evolve...this is actually known as micro evolution.
But...there has never been a documented case of an organism GAINING information it did not already possess in it genome.
The second law of thermal dynamics...Atrophy...basically covers this.
Living organisms may lose info but they do not gain anything that was not already contained in the original genome.
