The OP's plan sounds good. For the last 20+ years i have been storing my powders in a sealed bag then in another bag with a with a desiccant. In an ice chest in the center of my home in a closet. After 10+ years everything is as good as new as fat as i can tell.

Just use rice and salt. Basically, you put the bag of raw into another bag, then place that bag in a jar filled with a mix of rice and salt. That’ll keep it good for years.

I personally went bit overboard and basically took some schedule PVC pipe. Vacuum sealed my raws in bags of 10 grams each put it in the pipe, sealed the pipe up, but before I sealed it I displaced most of the pipe with argon gas for wine coolers. Then preceeded to keep the pipe stored in a deep freezer.
I also threw in some moisture absorbers just for safety
Was cheap but effective time seal.

If you never sell or advertise what you have, do you really need to worry about where they are versus how they are stored?
Place under vacuum and remove as much moisture as possible. Add in oxygen absorbers. Keep out of the heat and light.
Make sure none of your other hobbies attract unwanted attention…

Got a friend that 15 years ago had been raided for cocaine tho. Well amazing as it is he had a safe hided in such a way that it was never found even so they kinda cracked open the whole house, no coke on the premises found xD
Threw everything away after that episode, got in a detox facility and still alive to tell the story
