Readalots Enhanced Testing

Why don't we team and help the vendors see the value of testing raws by HPLC. Care to find common ground as a first step? We seem to be making progress.

You and I know the number of vendors testing their raws in the UGL space is much less than 10%. Wouldn't you agree? That is far from well received. Certainly the <10% figure is accurate at MESO.

So what's your answer? Do you agree we should prioritize demanding (or asking in your mind) vendors HPLC test all their raws prior to brewing into product?

Prioritize this as next step?

While I agree that all sources should test raws and finished products do you think that the ones that already do get more business than the ones not doing it? I can tell ya they dont. Meso shifted a few years back and got flooded with reddit members. All most care about are cheap prices. It’s frustrating and was sad to see the shift. A lot of effort was put in to stopping it, which was basically to have QSC removed. We lost some of the last remaining great vets around here due to that particular source being untouchable and able to bend the rules. Ranting a bit now and probably crossing a line.

It’s always been a bit mind blowing why sources don’t test their raws. Or if they do why aren’t they all sharing them with the public? How can they properly brew things if they aren’t testing raws with things like Deca and EQ testing all over the place and poorly?

Anywho, I do feel when vetting new sources if guys want to go ape-shit and demand hplc on their raws as well that has merit rather than all the other noise that’s been trying to be pushed lately. Although, if they are providing hplc reports on finished products and they look good what’s really the point in seeing how the raws tested other than just for knowledge of how raws are testing these days? Again, not opposed to more deeper testing but let’s push it when there is actually cause or concern.

I'm in and actively putting vendors in the database who agree to the raws testing.

People need education on this topic and we can't give up.

In the interest of community building I'll happily reduce the intensity of my push for all this other testing till we get a consistent standard for raws testing implemented here at MESO.

Any takers or are a few of us just talking to ourselves?

Thanks for your comments and excellent 80/20 rule suggestion.

Please weigh in community members.

Another lab signing up:

If the community wants this widespread you better start making some noise. I can't do it all on my own.

Can we just do a list of who tested. Like they have results.

You’re making this like a Honey-Do list. Quit nagging them. It’s voluntary. They either see the value in doing it or they don’t.

Then they won't. This ain't magically gonna happen.

Feel free to respond to my other posts. I guess it's just the three of us in here.

Ask @GenericAsia how we liked his sales until he had to go screw it up. People do appreciate the surveillance. Most that did order because of the surveillance step change are just not coming out and saying it. Props to those that do speak up.

If I were a new source and I was hounded and reminded, I’d sit on my hands.

If I was reminded by enough people and they were camped out in my thread not going away, I would appease them and send some samples off. That would buy me time to continue. But I definitely wouldn’t be very proactive because it seems like a chore.

If I was a new source and someone showed me the value added to my business, I would definitely consider it.

Well we did the latter today. Congrats.

I do not agree with this.

Voluntary is voluntary. You’re acting like a regulator.
See if you can find anything you like above.

B Ware summarized the current status at MESO. It's clear there is room for improvement. I've tried to move the needle. How would you recommend we go about this since we can't seem to agree on anything even after I relax my stance to seek common ground with you?

I just tried to get consensus on HPLC raws testing and you complain I am tracking with a log. All those entries were voluntary by the vendors.

No good deed goes .... and all that.

I don’t know how many times I’ve repeated myself.

Did those sources know they were signing up for a commitment list? I don’t believe that was clearly agreed to. What’s the benefit for them? “Please bug me again even though I agreed to do it”.

Is it your job to police the underground? I don’t think it’s mine. I don’t want that at all. Who is one member?

Start by easing up and educating the UGLs and members rather than fear-mongering.

Cause I can tell you right now, you’re not gaining any support doing what you are currently doing.

Agreed.

I purchased for QSC for raws. A little limited on who to purchase from in regards to raw manufacturers/sellers. Never really had an issue overall.

But there is huge difference of the type of Chinese oil customer vs domestic UGL brewer customer. Even though raw material is most likely the same.

Most Chinese oil customers are scraping from the bottom of the barrel.

US brewing customers typically want certain types of oil, customer service, and want discretion with their illegal products. They do focus on quality from the oil, presentation, high quality stoppers, and vial tops.

It does feel like meso is not even just "taken over by reddittors" anymore. The majority of the population here has changed. People drooling for 5 dollar vials of test or 9 dollar vials of tren ace have taken over this forum. More worried about stockpiling cheap oils.

That being said. The ones buying stuff from China don't really care about testing, customer service,

As people can tell. I am very against testing for things you cannot do anything about.

Why don't we just demand the UGL brewers to purchase old pharmacy compounding labs and hold them to FDA standards too?

Perspective is appreciated. Wanting high standards while the largest UGL is literally THE bottom of the barrel seems at odds.

Don't let the clowns who literally put zero effort into harm reduction dissuade you.

Being a know nothing stone thrower is effortless.

Your work is well intentioned and substantial. It's merely your approach to selling it that needs tweaking with a more nuanced approach, that's all.
