Realistically what does it take...

Ok I have a few questions regarding bodybuilding and progress

I want to know what it actually takes to get the body of your dreams, it seems so common on social media but no one at my 2 gyms is worth a second look

I've searched around but only seem to come across stupid bodybuilding.com posts that say the person uses steroids that's all it takes, which as ive discovered is total shit

This is an example of the body I mean not a mr o style

I am the same height and weight as him
6"2' 230lbs but obviously look nothing alike
I am coming up to my 3rd year of training and he has 10-11 years in the gym

Do these people just cycle year round to reach this level or is it just the years of experience with a few cycles?

When you reach this level is it maintainable off steroids?

Thanks

I've always been curious what these guys run. But at the end of the day just like the pros it's comes down to genetics, diet, drugs, training. In that order.

But I'm pretty sure he's like 6'3 250+

And once u pass you're genetic limit its not possible to keep it off steroids. I've been finding it hard to make significant gains past limit w cycling. Better start uppin the dosages

In one of his latest you tube vids he said he was 230 or just over since he couldnt go on a ride

So basically if I'm not born to be big I won't be able to achieve or maintain that body ?

My Opinion,

Genetics are everything in everything in athletics. After athletics comes knowledge and discipline for working out, diet, etc... After that comes the drugs. All the drugs in the world won't help a person with a bad workout plan and bad diet beat another who really understands what to do and how, if genetics were not a factor.

Time and muscle maturity also matter. Young guns don't want to hear it but it remains true. Frankly, that is why Arnold was so special way back when, he was an exception to the the time rule.

it is all eventually possible even with bad. genetics, but hard work and genetics got me looking. like that natural in 3 years.
I am now 42 been off weight 15 years been back 4 years. and tman in best shape, gonna win Mr,Missouri. contest next summer
I am on aas. now was natural when I won Mr teen mo. 1992
I hope you the best eat 4-5 times a day meals with protein, carbs, fat, vegetables, put on calories. sleep and either find good gear or make you're own that's how I get good gear.pound weight with intensity like a Maddy bull and eat like a pig sleep like a baby you will grow

hard work. without steroids-15 years straight. With steroids 5 years straight. Idk about genetics it doesn't hurt. Diet is key.

You know, I just noticed you asked if it is maintainable. The level of body fat may be more about your predisposition, some have an easier time staying lean. It also gets harder as you get older. As far as development, most definitely, you can. It is all about hard work and dedication. After 3 years, you know what to do. More of the same. Stay open to new ideas though.

Then again, life events happen causing us to focus elsewhere, sometimes sacrificing all those great habits. Don't get married and/or have kids and stay away from a serious career with significant progression and you will be fine.... o_O

Genetics. You may be same weight and same height but likely not the same bodyfat percentage, body fat distribution, bone structure, joint size, shoulder width, etc. Of these factors, bodyfat percentage can be somewhat controlled. With a recomposition you can achieve same bodyfat percentage but you still won't look like him. I guarantee if you gain more LBM and lose BF, you'll look better. Don't use someone else as a way to guage your progress. Just focus on maximizing your own potential.

First is genetics however I wouldn't let genetics limit you. I find everybody has amazing potential in various ways when it comes to genetics.

Diet to bring down the bodyfat so you can see what you are working with. People often think I'm getting bigger when I diet down and get more defined.

Working out: Everybody has there own spin on this. I recommend starting with low volume and work your way up.

Drugs: This I think takes the biggest learning curve often times people rather do more than less. Which in theory you think it'll get you to the goals faster but reality it might at first. However to really dial shit in you won't know what is working right mixing a ton of compounds with learning each one so you'll always fall short until you learn how they work for you.

Thanks guys I understand not looking exactly like him for various reasons and regardless of the answer I am going to continue to work out
I was more so curious if a build like that takes 10+ years to achieve with a Fuck load of drugs or just moderate cycles here and there etc
And if you can get there is it just dependant on the person how much size you can keep drug free

I would love to achieve something like that but it doesn't mean as much to me as my health

Your not keeping that much size drug free for any amount of time. Maybe long enough in between cycles if they cycle at all.

I wanted to add this to show hoe much time and work it takes
but time does go by.
I've been on aas.since may 2014
was 205. I'm now 205 weight is same but um much more granite carved then a year ago and stronger, alit better stamina. I'm still learning with aas. but if you want to look like I want at 43 aas is a must do I need them no.but if I want to win I do need them. my past drug habits and designer steroids screwed up natural test. how I wish I was 30 at least I would tear them weights up. I still do a good routine I damage the muscle enuff. daily in my younger years I overworked the muscle. I could of made better gains if I was on aas I could of done 20 sets of squats and healed in 2 days it took all week.that's how hard you work if you want leg's. but I learned there's smarter ways to hit a muscle tax it in half the time. all my workouts are in 45 min no rest plus cardio. I hope you achieve the look you are wanting. just turn on a switch at the weight room. eat smart and when you're. ready for aas. research read alot no more about each compounds purpose and sides learn serms.a.I.s eat and

Depends on your bodyshape and muscle bellies etc. It still doesnt mean you can get ripped with abs and a big chest with giant arms....It also depends on how you train. You shouldn't necessarily try to copy another persons physique but instead try to work as hard as you can and develope all your
Muscles/burn fat.

And beware of retarded social media pics. Pics can be very deceiving! And photoshop/editing does exist dude. Youd be surprised how many of these dudes heavily edit their photos on Instagram, FB, Twitter etc. Thats probably the reason why you dont see many of them in person [emoji848].

Yea the OP post is definatly photo shopped around the lats. That's why he took the pick infront of a black door. I though same thing when I saw thisHe would have more muscle on lower lats.

Hahhaha what??!! Its not like that's an out-of-this-world physique. If his shoulders and arms were a bit smaller i would have guessed he was natural.
