Realistically what does it take...

Generalizations will burn you every time.

Might I suggest not knocking someone else for their success, it opens the door to thoughts someone might just be jealous and no one wants that.

Lets also not sit here and compare ourselves to him endlessly, he is who he is and each of us are who we are. Enjoy being yourself and take pride in the journey you have made thus far and are still making.

Don't get me wrong I'm more then happy with the progress I've made, but I'm no where near where I'd like to be and was interested in what it would take to get there since I know it's not a 16week diet plan off the internet

Well youll definitely have to eat a lot lol. If you want a physique like him, narrow waist and wide shoulders then you should actually try to do lots of rows and upper back movements to make your back bigger and wider and it will make your shoulders wider from the front too. Posture is a big one too and flexabilty. If you dont stretch your shoulders will be "rolled" inwards and make you look like a bench monkey. This guys shoulders/posture looks good because his chest is out and shoulders are back. Also keep the waist tight and do lots of Inner abdominal wall training.

Train harder. Eat more. Tell us about yourself we can help. What are your stats?

Ill post up a pic tonight
I don't have a trainer or gym partner so not 100% sure where I should be or if the progress I'm making is enough or if I'm doing something wrong
Would hate to train for a few more years to realise I could have been making much Better progress with some changes

Shit youre pretty big lol. Well from your stats you clearly know what youre doing. Just wait patiently. Give it another 1-2 years.

I am sure we all could be training a bit better than we are regardless of experience or knowledge level. Some of us need to do more, some less, some different than what we are doing. Enjoy the ride, the work at development will never end.

The journey is the worthwhile part. If the destination were close, we would all get bored and pick a new hobby.

Have fun on the road.

Well here is a picture, after dinner just before bed
This is actually the first pic I've taken of myself since going to the gym

I wasn't 100% keen on posting one so keep in mind its a work in progress

It takes living bodybuilding day in and out sleep eat and working out coaches and people telling you what and when to eat. It's gruling. I've been at it hard core for awhile now. And finally getting the results deserved. You will need a coach get ready to sell your soul to the iron. I wouldn't have it any other way!

In one of his latest you tube vids he said he was 230 or just over since he couldnt go on a ride

So basically if I'm not born to be big I won't be able to achieve or maintain that body ?
Hi Rocketbunny, according to research, most of us are not able to tap our utmost potential, whether it be sporting or intellectual. The most important factor here is to remember that even though genes play a major role, you will still be able to achieve a body like that if you spend a lot of time working on it!

You will be able to maintain this body if you get the right encouragement, training, and a little help from an anabolic drug.

No offense but what research? Citation?

Again, not to be offensive but, I have had no problem in maintaining anything I ever gained from way back when, when I did the stuff. In fact, I have significantly improved over the years without it.

I agree genetics mean a lot. But then again some of these guys spend their day eating, lifting and resting. For some of us that work getting lots of rest can be difficult.
