If you got "20 draws" from one of those spikes... it's an exception. You are correct, they are NOT SUITABLE. Maybe if it's used over a short period of time, like less than one week to 10 days. But overall, they are not made well enough to stand up to the solvents longer than that, if that.
"20 draws?" You, "never had an issue...???". I've never had one of those spikes survive that long.
Assuming your 20 draws are over a 20 day period... and you're consistently getting that vial after vial? That would make you the only person I know who "never had an issue."
Those spikes deteriorate rapidly once AAS solvents are introduced. On average, they may last up to 10 days, if that, before falling apart where glued together.
I stopped using them, and believe they are harmful. The degrading glue residue could get sucked up into the draw or regurgitate back and compromise the vial.
Airing on the side of caution—as an advocate of "harm reduction"—I wouldn't use them with AAS oils.
