Recipe List

I keep reading BB isn't needed for test E. Thoughts?
For warmer temps it is probably possible to brew test e with minimal amounts of BB. Probably even none at lower ratio's yeah.
But I used it cause it was my first time and I don't want to deal with it crashing.

Made a quick vial of 200mg/ml EQ and 200mg/ml TC. Held with no problems so far...

No BB! 5% BA.

Made 400mg/ml TC using EO
400mg/ml EQ with GSO...
Mixed and stirred.

I'll try to get the concentration up with the next batch when the BB comes.

TC=Test Cyp?

We shall find out this evening if it's still all in solution... My hypothesis is that the EQ helps keep it dissolved.

SitRep update: my attempt to brew at 350 apiece was basically a complete non-starter.
I experienced a lot of difficulties along the way, but I now have 30ml at approx 250mg/ml of EQ and 250mg/ml Test Cyp blend.

It was hard, don't think it's very easy to brew it any higher than 250 each. I don't think it's impossible... But the difficulties outweigh the benefits.

Oh yeah, it's really fucking viscous at 250 apiece, too. Just so as y'all know.

I believe I've said before that you don't (technically) need bb for test e at 250mg/ml. It will hold. I brew at 300mg/ml and use 10%. But even if it's not needed to hold i would still add atleast 10% to thin it out some. Like with eq. Eq Is thick stuff. I'll add 10% to eq300 to thin it out for sure.

Would you recommend the same with a Deca recipe, 1/10 @ 250mg/ml?

Alright guys...i have everything I need to brew except for fittings and hoses for my vac pump. Ordered 500 bucks worth of raws yesterday. Will get my brew station set up after I get off work tomorrow night. Plan on taking a trip to Lowe's to get what I need for the pump and doing a dry run to make sure I've not forgotten anything. First set of days off from work I have after the raws get here I will brew. I'm beyond excited. Wish PPL domestic had some Deca and some Primo raws available...

Get Whatman Polycaps filters
unlike Zapcaps, Polycaps are virtually LEAKPROOF unless you blow them up with excess vaccum. Even so they resist higher vaccum than Zapcaps ever do.
Also way faster. Time is money.
Try to add an extra vacuum gauge just before the filter inlet.

Got 12 zapcaps already. I will keep that in mind for next time. Can you explain the hose route with 2 gauges for me? And what type of valve do I need to reduce vacuum? Simple ball valve?

Thanks for the tips.

Just a simple Tee tube will work
one goes to the vacuum gauge, the other to the filter inlet.
Yes a ball valve will work OK. Just make sure it's meant for compressed air or A/C gas. Not just any valve meant for use in water.

And why 2 gauges vs one?
