Recovery. And life after surgery.

Will do. I'm feeling absolutely horrible today. My body must be detoxing all the opiates. I seriously feel the worst I've felt in a long time. Then I sneezed and hurt my neck again and bit the hole in my tounge.. I'm hating life
Hang in there brother, you still look jacked and tanned in your pic!!! Haha... Down but not out, this time will pass and by spring/summer, youll Monster right the fuck up!!!

Ya bro I did this doing overhead presses with some puny 70's and 80's.
Just got back on too. I had taken about 2 months off to get "my mind rite"
All of a sudden.. I'm laid up. Not sure if you seen the mri but it's fuckd. One of my discs exploded out my vertebrae and was ballz deep in my spinal chord. This was all preventable too. I felt it coming on weeks earlier. What's your training look like rite now?

Dayyyyyymn!!!!

Im jumping back on after a short break, had to straighten out my mind as well. Was diagnosed with PTSD and was having a hard time grinding through my days.

Im back in it now, things have been coming together again. Almost two weeks back on the tren train. Hitting each muscle group twice a week. First half loading and second deloading with one day off for re-feed. My body is responding real well to the work load. The iron is my religion and church is 6 days a week!

Just now put the pieces together of who you are with the new handle. Good to see you're doing well after the surgery. Take it easy, heal and listen to your body. You'll know when it's "go" time again. God speed my dude.

I have been dealing with 5 cervical herniated discs with spinal stenosis for ten years. You have to learn to flex your neck and traps when you sneeze or you will fuck it up again.

First off, I'm sorry to hear about your injury brother. If it's any help I know all too well about it. I broke my wrist and a week later got into a car accident which literally put my body up against a telephone pole at 60mph. At first they didn't know if I would live let alone walk again. I was immediately paralyzed from the shoulders down. While in a coma for 4 weeks I laid lifeless and on morphine with tubes and electrodes in almost every fucking orifice of my body. I shattered the left side of my pelvis into 6 clean breaks, fractured my tailbone, slipped 3 discs in my neck and from the force of slamming up against a telephone pole at 60mph I rendered every single one of my internal organs so black and blue that they became non functional. At first I had to have my stomach pumped because my body could not digest food. Then eventually I had to be fed liquid thru a tube that went in my nose and to my stomach. I was in the hospital for a total of 6 weeks....and the entire time I couldn't even roll onto my side without an apparatus strapped to me that held my body straight while they bathed me or changed my adult diaper....I would scream in agony. I had a tube in my dick hole with a balloon inflated in my bladder (cathater). When they discharged me I was brought home in a medcare van. I stayed home for 3 months with strict bed rest orders. When I finally was able to slide out of bed I could only use my arms to drag my completely useless legs behind me across the floor. Then I began to use a wheelchair. I went to rehabilitation where I re learned to walk. I looked like a newborn giraffe. I would be put in a pool at the rehabilitation center where I would float and use the water resistance to slowly rebuild muscle. Over all it took over a year to get even close to being able to walk normal.
Anyway, I now stand before you a 36 year old man, 6ft 218lbs as a living example that NO ONE will ever stop me from pushing forward. From becoming the best version of me that I can. I know ALL TO WELL brother. Don't let this get you to far down. It's just a set back. Rest, heal, adapt and conquer!! You got this broham:);)

Jesus Christ Bill... Your nothing short of a miracle. Holy shit! Thank you for sharing. It really puts things into perspective. I'm in a shit load of pain this morning, but shit.. I'm walking around and I'm drinking coffee on my own. If you don't mind me asking, what's your stats like today in regards to what lifts and training can you participate in? Do you squat? Are you able too? You are resilient for sure. What's cool about guys like us is that were already thinking of making a huge comeback. That our lives are far from over.

Yes my friend we are resilient mother fuckers!! We put our bodies thru stress that we actually enjoy and that most do not want to endure. I can still perform all the the basic compound moves. I sqaut, deadlift, bench, curl clean and jerk...etc. I stepped out of the game for a couple years to deal with my neck which currently has a herniated disc between c7 and t1, two ruptured discs between c3/c4/c5, arthritis and a bone spur. Its not 100% but god damn it I will never give in. I've been back lifting for about a year now. One heavy cycle in and now I'm cruising but when my package lands I'll be in full blast mode!! I hope to hit somewhere between 230-235lbs by the end of this winter. I'm a far cry from what I was....but I will get better and bigger. I have to.

I hate to tell you but I cannot do front or back squats. I tried but it puts to much pressure on those discs. Same with heavy shrugs. I can do light trap bar deadlifts. I do light overhead shrugs with dumbbells

I was a measly 178lbs when I started my last cycle. I hit 218 by the end of it!!

I have lightened up some of my exercises as well. My shrugs mostly. But squat and deadlift as well. I am convinced that even if I was paralyzed completely besides a single finger....that would be the most jacked and yoked finger you ever did see lol!!

grinder/basher/smasher lol. It's always been a dream of mine to build my own bike from the ground up so this winter....I'm gonna do it!!

Ya bro, it's important to have a back up plan in life. Guys like us are prone to injury and subject to be out of the gym for some time. This is actually gonna be my third run this month. Alot of different clubs show to support too.

100 back atcha  were everywhere!! And yes, some of us shower and bang hot women....not just saggy tittied hags. Lol. Good shit man.
