Research wanted on long term supression Nandrolone

Hi guys,

I hope y'all are doing great. I'm planning to start B&C this year (35M) with plenty of years under my belt and ambitions to do one or two shows in 3 years time from now. I've done two cycles in the past year with good results. Lifts are maxed out for my genetics or close to.

Now, I'm planning to start adding Deca/Nand to my stack this time. However I'm a bit worried about how to plan for PCT after I put the gear down for good. I'm hearing from a few months to a year to recover (because of metabolites) before starting PCT.

I'm looking for science papers if any exist on the topic, anything scientific. I've seen a few graphs on forums about LH and Test coming back up after 8 months but I can't seem to find them anymore. Can we collaboratively settle this debate once and for all?

Do not take Nandrolone if you're not blasting and cruising, just stick to test.

On that same token, I'd say not to take steroids if you're not willing to blast and cruise. Almost no one does only one cycle (unless this is absolutely not for you), no point crashing your hormones w/ a PCT if you're just going to hop back on again.

I don't think that you've actually read what I wrote. I will be blasting and cruising for the coming years. Eventually I would want to PCT. Anyway, it seems that barely any research exists on the subject. I'm merely trying to educate myself and others.

I found a study that finds metabolites in 50% of males present after 9 months:

In our study of the excretion profile of nandrolone and the 19-norandrosterone (19-NA) and 19-noretiocholanolone (19-NE) metabolites after one single i.m. dose of 150 mg nandrolone decanoate (ND) to healthy volunteers we were able to demonstrate that 19-NA is detectable for 9 months in about half of the individuals.

The studies i could find talk about detectability of metabolites, not about actual HPTA supression.

I also found studies claiming that nand is toxic to the testes and Test + Sperm production. That might explain why some never recover to their old levels after years of use, trying to PCT.

I also found a study on Taurine having protective properties in rats using Nandrolone. I will be adding this to my protocol to potentially protect for some of the toxic effects on the/my testes.

Moreover, taurine prevented nandrolone decanoate-induced testicular toxicity and DNA damage by virtue of its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-apoptotic effects.

Any other inputs expanding on the above would be welcome.
