Ricky's Powerlifting Log

Haven't had a chance to reply till now. It was my fault for remaining so vague, I would've made some edits in hindsight.

Since i'm maintaining, my weight has remained at 200 without much flucuations. I'm wanting to push up to 215ish over the next few months, willing to put on quite a bit of weight, slowly

Best Sleeved Squat at 450 1x5
Best Bench Set was 295 1x5
Deadlift is lagging pretty far behind at 530 1x3

Not the greatest numbers by any means but i'm happy with what i've got to work with haha. Perhaps i'll achieve all the goals I set for the end of 2022 but only time will tell.
Ouch. I did not see it right away. great numbers. I am sure that you will succeed. The main thing is to pay attention to proper training planning and work on technique.

Cool. Arrived in our ranks. Good luck, man on this difficult path)

weight 200.1lbs

435 3x5 Deficit Deadlift (85% of 5RM)
385 5x5 Back Squat (85% of 5RM)
225 3x10 Pendlay Row
3x12 Leg Curl

Nothing worthy to note. Volume day and working to increase my speed off the floor with deads. Felt comfortable enough to hit the posterior chain a little harder.

297.5 1x5 Flat Bench Press
252.5 1x5 Incline Bench Press
4x12 Lateral Raises
4x12 Cable Hammer Curls

2.5lb PR for both, happy with that. Don't think I would've been able to crack 300x5 today. Upped the calories by 200 yesterday, going to be building up to 3800.

I've had a bit of an unexpected family situation spring up, so i'll be out of state from monday till thursday. I'll be trying to find a gym.

Personal records are always pleasant and I still wish to find a gym)

I love old school gyms, where the whole story of power and iron is. Where there is spirit and soul

I love it when I train hard squats. I'm flying straight for training)

I have no idea. I saw one guy state you really won't know if you have it or not, till you dedicate 4 years into it.

I always thought you had to bench 400 lbs when you were 17, to be able to crack these huge numbers, but apparently not.
All the guy's who I have spoken to who have benched 600 plus have always stated that they could do 405 at 17, then it was just a case of 500mg Test and 50mg Adrol ED and they were hitting 500. Then they have just built it up over the years. Always 250lb's plus so its basically just a double bodyweight bench to them and then a little more.

I think this is still individual, and not a question of statistics. Again, there is no dependence on the number of farms and the result on the bar

In fact, good statistics need to think about it well.

It will always be down to the individual, height plays a big part of the equation. Then there is how much time the person has invested into mastering technique and building a strong arch - some like myself simply don't want to bench with an arch where as others will make it their number one priority in life to achieve a 5 inch ROM.
