Looks like slice was off the juice for some time judging by the drastic change in his body composition the last few years. I mean he went from hulk to flabby. I wonder if it was a genetic inheritance that caused his death at a young age of 42 or the sins of his past?

What concerns me is fighters have incredible cardio, use no where close to the amount of steroids bodybuilders use, yet their dropping like flies from heart attacks !!. Something else is going on here.

If it's an overdose, yes !! I think the singer Prince died from overdosing pain medication.
FDA increased its warning level on NSAIDS and heart attacks and Rx painkillers can also lead to heart complications/attacks yes

Check out the movie Prescription Thugs sometime, it's on Netflix. It explores PK abuse among different people including athletes. Worth watching. It's made by Chris Bell (he also made Bigger Faster Stronger).

Could have been a genetic issue as well... he was a 40 something African American man. It's not uncommon for heart issues to take these guys out at a young age sadly. Add in steroid use and possible painkiller use and it's not surprising. Too bad... really enjoyed watching him fight.
^That. From cardiac issues to stroke... being black and American (the diet) bets you on the dangerous end of early mortality stats.

The only thing I knew of the man I read in an issue of Maxim. I have/had nothing but respect for the man as a true badass! There's no better teacher than the "no rules" school of training.

Guys I hate to break it to you but steroids probably played a big roll in his heart failure.
