RIP KIMBO SLICE

Guys I hate to break it to you but steroids probably played a big roll in his heart failure.
Its not that simple brother
If it was Ronnie Coleman would be pushin daisies already
Whats he mid forties now?
Im willing to bet he used way way way more anabolics way way way longer than Mr. Ferguson

I don't know. I have no doubt that the long term effects of AAS on the heart can be devastating but if the link was that strong then we would be seeing more and more athletes across a wider variety of sports suddenly dying. But I agree that you are changing the natural course of events that occur in your life health wise by taking anabolics and for some guys that might lead to some kind of heart problem. The question is, would they end up with the same problem if they never used/abused AAS?

I think there are absolutely scenarios where guys can fuck themselves up with their use that could have been avoided though. For example, someone going years and years with fucked up lipids and with pre-htn/htn systolic and diastolic #'s constantly. This would be someone who blasts for years and years, without taking much time off. Idc what anyone says, that is risky as fuck if they do that for excessive amounts of time.

But even that is not very common and it would take some egregious abuse to get there in a normal / healthy person.

Let me rephrase that I guess. Chances are he was a guy that already had multiple other risk factors. Probably a shitty greasy diet too. Adding abuse of AAS into the mix, ancilary meds, raised blood pressure, etc. it's just asking for trouble. AAS can be dangerous if you're not already the picture of health.

Did you know Ronnie can't walk anymore? Learned that yesterday. Was pretty crazy to see.

I was there watching his street fights on YouTube an when I seen that he died I was like wtf but I seen his last fight with dada 3000 (or whatever) an both fighters ended up getting super gassed out

guy had pretty wreckless lifestyle...been partying hard since his days at the U. Running security for titty bars in Dade, rollin with the Reality King porn crew, I think he did some time on gun charge.

At 42 he outlasted the pack by at least a decade...

Come to think of it
I remember he had terrible knee issues
They were so bad his mobility was terrible. Which led to Dana letting him go of his UFC contract
I imagine those knees required lots of pain killers

damn thats crazy, was just watching some of his street fight footage a few days ago.
Rip kimbo

So this is all genetic ? Heart transplant and liver mass caused by what ??? What happened inside this man to cause this? An autopsy tells so much about the persons way of life.

I sure can imagine the pain he had to endure, thus the painkillers.

One of his sons (Baby Slice) will carry on Kimbo's legacy in the ring, which hopefully will be a fulfilling and rewarding career.
