From what i seen he was better condition this year, but he wasnt as big.

That elbow may very well be just genetic. I've seen guys with boney fucking elbows and it was nothing to do with outside influences.. just genetics. Combined with a lean body, I'd imagine it would appear much more pronounced.
With that said, I wouldn't be surprised if some of it was caused by hGH either. He just looks like a hGH heavy user IMO... I've always felt that a big part of his transformation, that led to the Olympia streak, was the addition of lots of hGH.
