I'll be logging my first experience with clenbuterol in this log here. I've never used clen before so I'm starting very conservative with my doses. Just finished my first cycle a few weeks ago and I'm looking primarily to improve breathing ability and stamina slightly (for my sport) from the clen, with fat burning being a secondary, but still somewhat-important goal.

The current plan is to use 40 mcg/day for 3 weeks, take 3 weeks off, and then do another 3 weeks.

I just took my first dose right before posting this. The clen I got is in liquid, dosed at 200 mcg/ml, and I took 0.2 ml (40 mcg). I used a standard syringe to measure it out (no I didn't inject it lol).

I'll log my lifting on here too. Right now I'm only lifting 2 days per week (full body) since I'm in-season, just doing what I need to do to maintain strength/power/performance. I'm also cruising on 180 mg test c/week.

I'm sure some people are wondering why I'm limiting myself to 40 mcg/day, so the reason is because in my research I read that clen can enhance performance for the endurance athlete at low doses of 20-40 mcg/day, but can start to hinder performance when the dose is increased to amounts that athletes and bodybuilders use to burn fat (60-140+). Since I'm larger than most other endurance athletes (6'2 and 260 lbs), I figured I should stick with the high end of the 20-40 range.

So my first day on clen was pretty shitty. Had nothing to do with the clen, it was just a bad day personally, ending with a bad workout.


power clean: 255x1x3 and failed 2 attempts at the 4th single
strict paused standing press: 205x3x3
paused squat: 390x3x3
paused incline bench: 225x9,8,8
deadlift: 510x1x4


Didn't "feel" anything from the clen at all today, not that I was expecting to though. I'll be taking another 40 mcg first thing in the morning tomorrow (technically today since it's past midnight).

I'm just glad today's over, not that tomorrow is gonna be much better though :/ oh well, hopefully Wednesday is a little better for me and then I'll be lifting again on Thursday.
 
That's why I'm keeping the dose low. I'm just experimenting as I've never used clen before. If i start to notice a negative impact on my performance there's no way I'll keep taking it though.

Edit: also, lots of pro athletes have been caught using clen so there must be a good reason they're using it.
 
Yeah I think that's what it does. I believe it was originally an asthma medication.


So I'm not sure if it's just in my head or not but I'm starting to feel a liiiiiittle jittery. I just checked my heart rate and it was 84 bpm, and I'm just sitting at a desk. Not sure if that's high or not.
 
depending on dose you will get uncontrollable shakes, sounds like the shakes might be starting. unless everyone is shaking you are going to throw up red flags.
 
Day 3 today, still no noticeable shaking, or noticeable anything really. I did some hard conditioning work last night and I'll be doing some more later today. Tomorrow is lifting day. Gonna be throwing around 390 on paused squats again, hopefully I can get an extra rep on those, my squats have been the only thing still going really well since my cycle ended a month ago. I'll be mostly looking to make sure my power cleans go well though, missing my last single on them on Monday felt terrible.
 
Day 4 today, still not feeling anything. I did have a great workout today though, which I really needed after my poor performance on Monday.

power clean: 255x1x4
Press: 205x3,3,4!!!
Paused squat: 390x3x3
Paused incline bench: 225x8,8,9
Chins: 262x6x4
GHRs: bw x8x3
Barbell holds: 335x25 sec x2

I'm so happy about my press, I've been just maintaining 205 for 3 triples ever since my blast ended, and today I was able to bust out an extra rep. I felt very explosive on pretty much everything, can't ask for much more than that.

Weight was 257 this morning but I didn't take a shit first so no change there. I am feeling a liiiiitle leaner though, but it's probably just in my head.
 
So I hope no one's too disappointed by this but I'm gonna be cutting this clen run short. Today was day 6 and I had my rugby game today, and I felt like my breathing was being restricted during the game. Huge problem obviously. It felt like something was wrapped around my breathing tubes (idk what they're actually called) slightly. I almost felt like I had slight asthma, assuming that's what asthma feels like. Complete opposite affect from what I was expecting from the drug.
