are steroids legal in russia?
Some say yes others no
Who to believe?

On the other hand
now that it was proven that even the paralympic (disabled) athletes doped under gov't supervision and got banned from Rio olympics

Do russian sources get a gov't subsidy?
LOL
as funny as it sounds I think some QUALIFYING sources actually do

Lol russia is getting scrutiny for doping because other governments want them to. Almost every single olympic athlete is doping. When all the elite level athletes are using peds, how can any natty person possibly beat someone who is world class at their sport AND using peds.

The same goes for professional sports where athletes are paid fucking loads, if you could get away with doping, would you???? I SURE AS HELL WOULD. Anti-doping organisations tell athletes when they're going to drug test them. We all know of drugs that have incredibly short half-lives and even most peptides cannot even be detected yet.

Also, you need to think about the money that these athletes bring in for billion dollar industries. Why would an industry let their athletes get caught and lose a huge amount of money, ESPECIALLY when they know all the ways around anti-doping.

Just my two cents, obviously I have no good evidence to back it up, it just seems so logical to me.

Steroids are ILLEGAL in Russia. Actually, even TRT is not something you can easily get, most Russian doctors don't normally prescribe TRT.
Roids are regulated by Russian version DEA called FSKN. But Russia is big and different in some parts in very tightly regulated in cities like Moscow or Saint Petersburg.
On the other hand in some regions like Dagestan its much looser and not giving a fuck attitude.

"Fun fact my uncle was a doctor in the former Soviet Union, and when I asked him if he or other doctors ever prescribed testosterone he really didn't remember. But he does remember prescribing Deca a lot apparently it was relly popular back in the old soviet days"

Nice post
Do you know if there have been any convictions of russian steroid sources?

I've heard police don't give a shit about using androgens (man hormones) in men.
Instead Russian police will beat the shit out of those caught using female hormones in men (transgender).
Is that true?

It's a matter of national pride to have the best athletes. They can't do much else right.

Russia is just acting like they care about roids but they are doing so to get rid of the international negative attention they had because of athletes being tested positive all the time. Actually they dont give a sh*t :)

+1

Are you located in Turkey?
What gear is legally available there?

Russia can't do that right either apparently. The US (we) consistently dominate them and the world in the Olympics from a medal count persepctive.

They are going to find themselves permabanned at some point for government-supported doping programs.

Personally, I say make it legal for the athletes.

Not to mention it's bad press for us. When China hosted the olympics they cracked down on the steroid market. Between the guys who want to juice and compete as natural and the synthetic drug market out of China, things are only going to get more difficult for us.
