Look into ozone hydrogen vapor sterilization. It's a new tech and it's fda approved for what im saying. The beauty of it is even if there's no off the shelf machine one can purchase for this ( still too new for the most of society to understand it). Some countries are adopting it quickly to stop using ethylene oxide. It's very efficientI do membrane testing with FTM and TSB. Use PTS for the endo. Used to do LAL reagent in he uv before I got the PTS. I had to waste so much so I got the PTS.
You don't need a lot to make it work
A modified vaccume chamber. A oxygen concentrator. A ozone generator. (Quartz generator that accepts pressured air). And various tubing that can withstand the ozone. The hydrogen vapor can be be generated using a ultra sonic humidifier before hand. Run it in the chamber to saturate it. Concentration can be 15%. Treat it exactly like an autoclave cycle. Except instead of pressure your doing vac after you push some ozone in there in cycle of 5 psi in for 5 mins. Then pull a vac. The. Release. Push more ozone. Do it 3 times. This will displace all the air with only ozone even in filter paper
It sounds convoluted but it's just turning a few levers and switches.....but the venting part is trick I run a tube outside so it vents out and not into my lab.....ozone at this high of concentration makes you light headed and you will get deadly sick. But a vent with a tube is enough to fix that.
The beauty of this method is it needs zero heat. Yet it works as an entire sterilization cycle and yes dental paper back autoclave bags are compatible!
It's also faster than autoclave and no drying cycle.
