Scenic snaps from around the world

That’s a big ass crane, at the job site I was on there was 2 of those. They are fuckin huge especially when you get right next to one.

yeh sometimes photos dont do them justice, that crane sat there for 7 weeks and lifted 2 things. probably worth 5k a day when its sitting there and 10k a day when its turned on

Used to be a rigger for a crane like that. Good times. Awesome to use equipment like that. Thanks for sharing.

thats ok mate im glad it brought back memories. my next move in my working career is to head down the rigging side of the job. ive been involved in 1000's of crane lifts but im not a rigger. my favourite is precast concrete panels

The damn counter weights are ridiculous. I zoomed in and there's a litte guy waking with a orange jumper on. He looks like a ant compared to it..It dwarfs that green crane also.

yeh its a big piece of gear, its hard to explain the sheer size without something to gauge off. that green crane is a 250tonne crane

thats the 2nd biggest crane ive seen, in darwin Australia there was a 1600tonne crane. when it tracked past us you could feel the earth tremour
