Its a dam made of soil and rock. Theyre usually shaped like a big bowl or square and hold water on the inside as opposed to holding water back like the Hoover dam.

Lucky bastard. You ever been to Whiskey Joe's on 60? We were there this past summer and sat on their beach for like 4 hours watching folks booting around on those things, and drinking a little : )

That's the jet ski/bitch central. Most of those guys are assholes and ride to fast in there and the cops always come. it's about a 20 minute ride from where I put in. Next time you come down here hit me up! We always do family days at fort desoto. There's about 10 families that go. Tents,grills,beer and jetskis. Not pussy ass rental type Jetskis eithe lol...Ours are supercharged 75-80mph skis. Good times. Shoot me a pm and give me a heads up brother. Your always welcome down here!

Here's some drone footage from last weekend at whore island .Summertime you can't park a jet ski around this whole island here it's so crowded. People camp out there overnight also.
