Scenic snaps from around the world

Cool, lots of travel? How'd you get hooked up with the company your working for? Sorry for all the questions. Looks like you are living the dream.

to be honest i bumped into a mate at the supermarket and he knew his company was lookjng for a bloke just like me, 2 weeks later i was on a plane..

its looks like a dream and at times it is. but the other side of the sword is.. ive been home 34 days in total since january. got a 2 1/2 year old daughter. fly home today and start another shutdown on saturday

nice work, i bet u boys got it tough out there
Yeah some days are bad but with all the new technology they make for out here, it’s nothing like it was 6 years ago. It’s ten times easier than before. Our rig literally has hydraulics that allow us to walk it with all the pipe in the Derrick. We have seven wells 20 ft apart and we’re on number 5. Takes us about 12 hrs to walk the rig and test and then set up to start drilling again.

Only time it gets rough out here. “Cough Cough” is when I run tren lol. Doesn’t work to well with me out here. Sucks so I have to leave it alone.

ive always wanted to work on a rig to see how i would go physically.

technology can be a double edged sword in my eyes. takes away the gorilla work lol thats why i love my job they will always need blokes from there shoulders down to jackhammer

yeah it’s still tough work but it’s nice not having to kill yourself 187 hrs a week.lol If it wasn’t for the two on and two off I wouldn’t do this shit. But gotta make the little chump change I can. ;)
