When I lived in Florida a buddy got an addition put on his house with a big screened in porch area. The porch flooring was a concrete slab that they had stained to look like a coral reef kind of thing. Wasn't half bad.

exposed concrete wall/garden bed i just did at home... formed it up, poured it, stripped and wood floated it 2hrs 30min after pouring then hit it with a high pressure hose an hour after that
will look better in a few days when the concrete cures more and i acid wash it
