@OdieM where is red rock? That looks amazing. I googled it but it came up w an area just outside of Austin, but that doesnt look like southern Texas.
Anyway, my lady friend and I just booked a trip to Turkey in October, so should have some pretty good pics to share.

Red Rock Canyon right outside of Vegas.
Thought about posting the Vegas pics but it's not really beautiful. Well not like natural stuff is. May post some Cabo pics tomorrow but they are kind of personal so not sure how much I'll share.

Old Red Rock, takes me back to my first trip to Vegas. 21 and my friend to me there after the club. High on mdma and watched the sun rise.
Ahhh...there it is. When Im in Vegas its usually for a long, blurry weekend. One of these trips Im should rent a car and check out Red Rock.
And yeah, Cabo may be beautiful, but there are some things to keep to yourself.

Ive been to crystal beach a few times. I work in refinaries so everytime i work in that area i go down there on my day off.
So making a complete 180 from the last post (Maui pics), we were riding past the old infamous Cabrini Greens and I took a couple snaps of whats left.

Second one is a shitty pic.
These low rises are all thats left to be razed. I took it from this angle to show how close to downtown it is, and to show contruction on luxury high rises in the background. Right behind me are million dollar townhomes.
But a block or two away on the right are a small set of the lowrises that are still occupied.

I use Vegas as a central base, the travel out from there. They have plenty of cheap hotels.
You can day trip to Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Zion in Utah, etc. Lot of cool shit right outside of Vegas too.
