An unreal amount of drugs like gbl gets confiscated that is coming from NL. Obviously they check EU to EU packages. It's more likely that the sender gets red flagged not the receiver. Using express is also a good way to lose your stuff.

Customs authorities have the right to conduct random inspections of parcels sent within the EU. They are even allowed to preferentially check parcels that have a high risk score (e.g. when parcels originate from a country which is known to produce, or be a gateway for, illegal goods).

These random inspections only cover a tiny fraction of parcels sent within the EU. Hence, the risk of customs interception is rather low. But it does occasionally happen.

Depends on what they find as to what they do, flagging the address can definitely happen too, but that's country dependent, and is more if they suspect distribution.
