Hated that feeling too while rehabbing my left arm. Tendons seem to get cantankerous at times. I just grit teeth and bear it.I hope my elbow hurting like hell this morning isn't anything above and beyond normal PT pains. It's getting very stiff in respect to flexion/extension and frankly the exterior forearm pain by the elbow sucks giant balls. I started taking ibuprofen again today. Feels like I'm walking backwards lol. I'm impatient and I know it...
Yes, I do. I have a follow up today.Hated that feeling too while rehabbing my left arm. Tendons seem to get cantankerous at times. I just grit teeth and bear it.
Do you go for follow up visits to the doc?
Cool hope there be good news.Yes, I do. I have a follow up today.
I just reread this posting wanted to clarify a bit.I am a bit distressed right now, some bad news at my follow up.
I'm looking at a potential surgery on my arm in the near future. I'll know in 3 weeks. I have a calcium deposit forming in my forearm and that's what's killing my range of motion with rotation. I am being put on meds and have been told to continue with PT. After three weeks of meds it will be reassessed and decisions will be made.
My phone wouldn't take a picture correctly so the X-ray pic will be here in three weeks. You can see a big calcium deposit growing in my arm. If it doesn't stop and reverse direction they will have to remove it.
Gay!!!
I was curious about the GH as well. I know nothing about it was just curious. That really sucks dude, I hope that shit goes away, I'd hate to see you under the knife again.I just reread this posting wanted to clarify a bit.
The meds are for the tendinitis that I've been experiencing, not for the calcium deposit. The tendinitis is most likely part of the calcium deposit issue, at the very least greatly exaggerated by it growing and restricting. It's a slow release anti inflammatory med. The name escapes me currently.
I'm not sure if the GH would play any part in the issue but I don't think it would from all of the reading I've done. I'm sitting here wondering if I've fucked myself over with the GH.
Fwiw, the biceps tendon is a OK and the surgeon is telling me that it's as good as it could ever be for this point in recovery. Sooooo that's a win!!
indomethacin er 75 mgThe name escapes me currently.
I can't begin to even answer... I have no idea!@mands

Hey fellas. Wondering what your thoughts are on this subject. Do you think that using GH after a soft tissue injury could contribute to calcium growth in the surrounding muscle after the fact?
It's essentially called heterotopic ossification.
I don't think it would but I am far from an authority. Thanks for the input gents.
I didn't know who to ask lol. Thank you very much either way!!I can't begin to even answer... I have no idea!

I have heard the opposite really. Lower IGF-1 levels can have effects on coronary calcium deposits. I do not know about calcium deposits studies or growth from GH use.@mands

I believe I've even read studies that used GH to help extreme cases of heterotopic ossification.
Sorry, I couldn't be more help. Maybe Chest will have a little more insight or @Dr JIM?
