Sheiko strikes again

Some decent wrist pain today. My left wrist is very tight and tender directly under the thumb. Z bar French press did it to me. Nothing crazy happened, just felt a little sore at the end of my workout. Woke up and it was noticable discomfort.

It's down by the scaphold bone. Everything I read about it says when one of those little bones break it feels like a sprain and doesn't have any bruising. That's what I have. So yeah, lol.

I'm afraid to get an xray. Last thing I want is a damn cast or surgery. I'm going to ride it out until after vacation I think. If it's still an issue at that point I'll go to the ortho.

That sucks dude, my daughter just got out of a cast she broke both the bones in her wrist. 4 weeks in a cast and 4 in a splint. Fingers crossed it isn't a break or fracture.

Wrist is slightly tight upon waking up, slightly sore. Nothing dramatic or aggregious happened yesterday to exacerbate the problem. I did workout, too. Pump exercises, nothing really heavy or any of that. Hopeful :)

Take it easy, big guy! Nice and easy until you know for sure. No more major injuries for you.

She doing ok? That sucks. At least she has some summer without a cast

Yeah she is good, this was her third break. Last one had pins and surgery. This one wasn't as bad. She doesn't like wearing the splint, and I got to keep on her about the mobility exercises. She loves climbing, unfortunately doesn't fall well. Thanks for asking.

I have an appointment for this on the 8th. I hurt mine hitting a heavy bag. No pain until the next morning. This has been going on for about 3 months now. Good luck with yours

Good luck with it man, hope it's nothing major. How long ago did it happen? I'm wondering if waiting it out is a bad idea.

3 months lol

I've tried waiting it out but it isn't improving so if yours has been the same for a month or so then I'd go ahead and get some images taken
About a week since it happened and it's improved a lot. Makes me hopeful

Maybe you just had a minor sprain. Mine is something more. Sometimes I get a sharp pain just from turning a door knob or reaching into my pocket or shaking someones hand. Sometimes it feels like there is a tendon that runs from the base of my thumb and up the top inside of my wrist and it's like I can feel it sort of popping or rolling across a bone or something. That's probably not exactly what's happening but that's how it feels sometimes.

I'd be getting it looked at in your case. Good call on your part.

Fawkin hot today. Damn. Good gym sessions, wrist is very minor irritation but still there. Pushing and pulling doesn't aggregate it so I'm increasing weight as no go. Just getting whole body circuits in, waiting to be 100% before I start a plan. Looking ok, feeling ok, eating like a boss, sleep sucks balls, good daily energy. No additional worries at all.

Side note, love rope pulldowns
