Alright ... Here it goes.... No shoulder pain in left shoulder but this started when i geared bench powerlifting.... Left shoulder would just seize... Again no pain but i would bring bar to chest then left shoulder says nope
Now its back after not competing just lifting
Again no pain but shoulder feels like nothing left in tank
Any ideas

If there's no pain its a tough diagnosis. Not a lot to go on here, but just an idea: perhaps years of heavy benching/competing has led to you developing scar tissue in your tendons, ligaments, and connective tissues in your shoulder girdle, and even though it doesn't cause pain it would indeed impede your ability to place stress on the joint and leverage strength. Again, this is just a shot in the dark but I know guys who have had scar tissue problems with various joints and its really effected their strength , even though technically any prior damage had been "healed".

B easy i appreciate the input
Cant think of what it could be
Guess i will be a smith machine bencher

No problem man! Might be worth your while to go get a deep tissue massage and have her focus on your problem shoulder. If it is scar tissue, some real deep work can break some of that stuff up and get some blood in there. Just by feeling around a good therapist can also usually feel if scar tissue is an issue in the area, and possibly even give you some insight as to what's going on. On the bright side, a nice massage beats a trip to the doctors office any day!

Could be putting pressure on a nerve in your neck/spine when you lay on the bench. I knew a BB in college (decades ago) who complained his fingers went numb when he benched. He eventually got his form adjusted to fix the problem, but I don't remember what that was exactly.
