Suuppppppp! I hope ya'll are well. I thought I'd stop by to catch up with all my homeslices, but I can't really find much. Where are you all hiding?

I wrapped up a second var cycle about 6 weeks ago and I'm honestly in the best shape and fitness of my life. I leaned out really decently post cycle, I had lasting gains and really good strength. Bench and squat are 155 and 275, respectively. I'm sitting at about 18% BF. My weight is about 160 and I'm not interested in going lower - but I've never been leaner. REALLY happy with my strength, fitness and all around look right now. Something about the last cycle just clicked and I had a great run. I kept it short and I can't wait for the next. Nothing exciting to report.

I was hosing off my patio stairs though recently and I slipped right on my arse and I think I slipped a disc or something. Lots of numbness down my back leg and lower back pain. Squatting ATG at 135 for slow reps is therapeutic, and that's what I'm doing for legs ATM until I feel better. And lots of arms. Bro workouts all day. :) Plus, I'm back in college to prep for my CPA exam, so it works out to heal while I study dem operating net incomes!

Please stop in and tell me how ya'll are doing, I'd love to hear from you. :)

Oh! And I forgot. I wanted to share this 'old-school cool' vibed fitness site

http://physicalculturist.ca/about/ (About | Physical Culturist)

and this part in particular is a collection of really inspiring, old-school fitness reading:

I thought some like CBS, Perrin, Eman and others may enjoy if they haven't already read them.

:)

Welcome back Happy, and here's to you getting back into top shape again. You just found the motivation right here :)

Damn straight to parallel!

My deadlift tho...not only did I NOT make gains, but I lost poundage on it. Not sure why I can never make gains on all three lifts at once - it's always a combo of 2, never all three since the beginning days.

I was comparing that to Texas womans raw PL records. It is actually better than the majority of females in the masters class. All readily available online

We don't have a lot of women here but the few we do have are strong.

Both @Happycamper and @Crystal234 lift impressive numbers. Though she isn't logging it the poster four above here will be the top 114 M2 lifter in the nation if she chooses to compete and could easily be the tops in the world. Comparable numbers with Happycamper at sub 120 pounds.

I pay $15 a year at powerliftingwatch dot com and have access to the national rankings by age and weight class. They show open, M1 (40-49) and M2 and up (50 and up) for each weight class. Records can be a significant accomplishment or not much of one at all depending on how big the federation is and how long it has been around, I like the national rankings as they will cover all federations, although not all of them submit their results. The rankings are at a minimum a good way to see how your numbers stack up with others of similar age and weight.

How long are the lists? Top 100 or top 50 or less?

Not really part of the crew but just wanted to congratulate you on those numbers! That squat is impressive!
