Anthony Taibbi, 30, was arrested Thursday after police found a large Ziploc bag of the bodybuilding steroid trenbolone acetate, two large Ziploc bags of testosterone and 150 glass vials of testosterone upon executing a search warrant of two packages delivered to Taibbi's Russell Street home, according to court documents.

A subsequent search of Taibbi's 2002 Mercedes Benz sedan turned up three star-shaped MDMA pills and 11 glass bottles of testosterone in the glove box, cops said. Police found another 10 glass bottles of testosterone in Taibbi's bedroom dresser, the criminal complaint states.

Court documents state that Taibbi admitted to operating an illegal steroid distribution business -- receiving the drugs from Hong Kong and selling them to customers across the United States.

He is charged with five counts of felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and six counts of misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to charging documents.

Taibbi's next court appearance is set for May 14. He remains jailed on $5,000 bail, online records show.

The second post I made is a link to a court records site from the state of New York. The fine young man took the opportunity that presented itself AFTER being arrested to turn over a new leaf and start working with the good guys. To show his support, he sat down with his attorney and the state's prosecutor and gave a deposition in lieu of an arraignment.
That's what is referred to as "Naming Names". I know who this young man of weak moral fiber is. He is a banned member at a board I belong to. People are very concerned.

Damn, how do they ever find out you're ordering or sending out stuff though? It's always they bust down the door, or plant a chip in the package, but never how they investigate

It's really very simple. They grab the package at customs and if it's significant enough the Feds have it delivered to the addressee. Prior to delivery they have the warrants prepared. Once delivery is confirmed, often with a beacon to confirm package is opened, they immediately execute the warrant and they have'em. I still haven't seen them go after customers yet though..anyone else hear of them going to customers?

Domestically, very similar. See my posts on the pa bust thread a couple days ago. It is how they do most usps illicit drug busts. Have not seen it for aas so much but regularly for Schedule 1 and 2's. Basically they look for "suspicious packages" and if they establish pc get a warrant to open. Often a dog sniff with other indicia such as locations and fake names. Since I don't think dogs are trained for aas LOL they would need a little more.

That's why a suspicious package then gets carefully opened and contents either seized or then prepared for a controlled delivery depending on the situation

Anyone who's dealt with this guy better clean house

Why the heck give yourself up like that? You would think he would have a little honor at least. How many times do people have to say "NOTHING YOU SAY TO THE POLICE WILL HELP YOU. EVER."
When it all boils down, people like this are nothing more than pawns in a game that is much bigger than they can contemplate. Giving the law all the info just hurts yourself and everyone around you.
