Sigma Audley Inc. - Your source for peptides, ancillaries, AAS, and more!

Japanese eat like 20-30mg a day... 1 mg a day of iodine is fine.

but yes if other form is available and iodine is of concern no worries to ask for it!

I always wonder how they come to conclusions though, like a population eating alot of iodine perhaps ate alot of fish with mercury etc.

By combining information from dietary records, food surveys, urine iodine analysis (both spot and 24-hour samples) and seaweed iodine content, we estimate that the Japanese iodine intake--largely from seaweeds--averages 1,000-3,000 μg/day (1-3 mg/day).

1mg-3mg 1.1mg being an acceptable level for an adult

Too much of anything can hurt you. I'm not saying take loads. But 1 mg of iodine isn't going to hurt your thyroid. I personally take 25mg aday. You urinate what you don't use.

@SigmaAudley China Peptide please comment on potential for chloride version of 5amino 1MQ. i'm going to source it elsewhere but i'd like to avoid doing that.

folks aren't going to continue to purchase iodide version; word is getting out in general that iodide version of 5MQ has potential to wreak havoc on health.

no one is using less than 50mg, so no one is really getting less than ~50mg iodide per day. common doses are 150mg - 250mg per day without raws. with raws, people will dose higher.

I agree. Iodide version is not only dangerous to thyroid health in recommended doses but also less effective than Chloride by approx. 45%. Almost half of each 5-amino Iodide tablet is pure Iodide.

Percentage of 5-Amino-1MQ in Each Form

Chloride Form:
  • 5-Amino-1MQ: 81.90%
  • Chloride: 18.10%

  • Iodide Form:
    • 5-Amino-1MQ: 55.81%
    • Iodide: 44.19%
It would be nice to get a response from SSA on this matter but for some reason we are being ignored. We have already asked for a response a few days ago but to no avail.

Has anyone asked if those "research" chem companies like modern aminos that influencers promote use the same version of these compounds?

Amino Asylums products work well, and I usually get them in 5 business from ordering, but they are pretty expensive. Imagine buying a single 10mg vial of Tirz for $250.

I think only Peptide Science makes their own, in the US. as they've been doing for a long time. But those prices...

I'll note they always seem to work better than any other peptides I've used, for whatever a feels report is worth.

I'm sure the same could be said of peptides bought from legitimate lab suppliers like Sigma Aldritich. If money is no object, you can buy reference samples from US Pharmacopeia, which are the ultimate source and as close to perfect as can be made.

No idea but I will email them regarding 5Amino. I know a dude who owns a supp shop and he swears he gets Chloride version...I'm skeptical.

Alright, so I'll just start here I guess. I'm going to end up ordering a decent chunk of 5Amino1MQ from a source not on this board. Allegedly, it'll be the chloride version.

Would any folks be interested in sharing the cost of Janoshik testing?

Separately, Not sure if you all saw the purity results of QSC SLUPP, but it's 73%.

This vendor @MYP9864 found allegedly has 99% pure SLUPP, we're waiting on 5Amino COA. Don't really trust in house testing...so want to send the 5Amino in for sure to verify it is infact chloride at the least bit, and would consider sending in SLUPP from the same vendor as well.

I believe @narta has sent in SLUPP from SSA? But anyhow, would be nice to start collecting data points on these new products.

If you're interested in making a contribution towards 5Amino and perhaps SLUPP testing (from same vendor not on this forum) when the time is right, DM me.
