Japanese eat like 20-30mg a day... 1 mg a day of iodine is fine.

but yes if other form is available and iodine is of concern no worries to ask for it!

I always wonder how they come to conclusions though, like a population eating alot of iodine perhaps ate alot of fish with mercury etc.

By combining information from dietary records, food surveys, urine iodine analysis (both spot and 24-hour samples) and seaweed iodine content, we estimate that the Japanese iodine intake--largely from seaweeds--averages 1,000-3,000 μg/day (1-3 mg/day).

1mg-3mg 1.1mg being an acceptable level for an adult

Too much of anything can hurt you. I'm not saying take loads. But 1 mg of iodine isn't going to hurt your thyroid. I personally take 25mg aday. You urinate what you don't use.

I don’t think you guys understood what I wrote. 1mg of iodide per 1mg of 5MQ.

I was taking 500mg of 5MQ. Therefore, I was interesting 500mg of iodide.

I was going to go to 1g of 5MQ before realizing that this was the iodide version of 5MQ.

@SigmaAudley China Peptide please comment on potential for chloride version of 5amino 1MQ. i'm going to source it elsewhere but i'd like to avoid doing that.

folks aren't going to continue to purchase iodide version; word is getting out in general that iodide version of 5MQ has potential to wreak havoc on health.

no one is using less than 50mg, so no one is really getting less than ~50mg iodide per day. common doses are 150mg - 250mg per day without raws. with raws, people will dose higher.
