How are you storing it, a regular non self defrosting freezer or a proper cryo deep freezer? I've considered investing in the latter.

I'D definitely buy that -86C freezer I've been eyeing on ebay, best excuse I can think of to spend that kind of money on one.

I only started GH for the first time this past March, and have been happy (for results) and sad (for my bank account) that my experimentation so far has shown I can tolerate 18iu/day with almost no noticeable side effects at all. I've settled on 12iu as a personally workable cost/benefit dose, but would definitely go higher if I could. Might bump to 14iu for a few months as I'm dealing with a ruptured tendon at the moment.

There are 2 pathways for lyophilized proteins to degrade. Photo or chemical.

Obviously out of light to prevent photo degradation.

The colder it is, the slower chemical degradation is. By -80c it's almost completely stopped, and even 5% degradation after 10 years is unlikely. -80c is the long term storage temp every commercial peptide lab recommends.

It all basically dates back to 2021 or 2022, I think. I've been on steroids for a few years, and one day my barber randomly asked me if I was on anything because I was getting pretty big. He’s swole as hell, too, with his huge arms while cutting my hair.


Turns out, he has this random fitness coach who’s an amateur bodybuilder. That guy has connections and sells to all his clients. So, we’re just talking one day, all three of us, while I’m at the shop. By that point, I had already found Chilton Labs through Reddit or whatever. The coach tells my friend he can get cheap Anavar.


But I had Chilton Labs, which sells 100 Anavar pills for $20, so I upsell them for $40 for 100 pills, completely undercutting the coach’s price by like 100%. The next day, my friend is like, “How the hell are you getting stuff so cheap?” So, I showed him Chinese sources and explained how they don’t get caught in customs, because everyone in Denmark thinks our customs are super strict.


My friend then directed me to his coach’s source, and I helped him source cheaper stuff than he was getting from European wholesalers.


Anyway, fast forward to 2025! I’m at the barber shop, and my friends tell me the coach got caught. Apparently, the coach who was getting him clients knew where his warehouse was (it was registered under his name). He was with his sister or something when the police showed up. They let her go after they arrested him, and she told the coach.


Before the police could get there, we showed up and raided the place so they wouldn’t charge him for it. I’m pretty sure the coach also had shady stuff at his main address, though.


I had to grab a bunch of stuff and put it in my car, driving back and forth like two times to get everything I needed for the next 10 years. I didn’t grab more because I didn’t think it’d be safe to hold on to for that long.

Honestly, if a picnic cooler size freezer preserves 5% potency of your peptide stash over the course of a year in storage, that's well worth $700-800 to a lot of hobbyists.

A lot of guys don't want their stash in the fridge or household freezer either.

If rHGH ever ends up going the way of Primo, not an impossibility, it'll really be worth having a means of very long term storage.

You know it. I already bought a mini fridge/non defrost freezer combo that is only for peptides. I won't even let my wife put anything in It. I also have OCD storage habits, so every 3ml and 10ml vial I have has to have a special case that I print labels for and organize relatively well. Bought a bunch of Flurotec stopper sealed sterile vials to transfer any stuff over to that's in a vial with either silicon or plain butyl rubber stoppers. Lots of other silly little things.

Yeah, I didn't want the temperature fluctuations from it being opened dozens of times a day, or the jostling that happens if they get bumped. With its own fridge freezer, it only gets opened when it's time to take something, and the freezer pretty much never gets opened

So lyophilized HGH can be stored in the freezer? I was under the wrong impression when I initially looked into that. I thought refrigerated temps only. Any degradation moving from the freezer to a refrigerator for storage?

QSC didn't really "manufacture" rHGH. They produced the finished product by taking raw rHGH, adding mannitol, and lyophilizing it. This did give them a big price advantage over other vendors at the time.

Interestingly Tracy's chemist initially used a more complex excipient formula, but it lowered purity, so they switched to mannitol only.

Knowing what I know now, that excipient formula probobly kept rHGH more stable, but the short term purity test was more important for competing, so the product was downgraded to get a better number.

I read the process of a pharma company developing a new rHGH excipient formula, and they accept that some excipients will cause slight reduction in purity, with the tradeoff being much better stability after reconstitution.

Finally, a couple of sources have said there's only one supplier for rHGH bulk raws to all UGLs, GenSci's "Somatropin Industrial Park", a sprawling manufacturing complex that produces rHGH raw materials in huge quantities. This makes a lot more sense than some small operation trying to produce one of the most complex pharma molecules from a basement operation in a cost efficient way. Easy to slip a kilo, 3 million iu's, out of the back door of a place like this.

Speaking of variance, do you single source the HGH or do you have multiple labs producing it?

I can imagine not wanting to share specific details, but I'm wondering what your customers can expect batch to batch.

We produce the raw of hgh.
We freeze dry it ourselves.
We freeze dry all the peptides ourselves in our lab.

Do you have any evidence for generic GH usually coming out the factory at 99% purity?

Not sure if you will be able to find pharma HGH at this purity

I had this discussion with him.

By "raw" he meant exactly what I said. They took rHGH monomer and blended it with excipients to make the "raw" liquid. Then they lyophilized it.

They didn't spend millions of dollars building a recombinant lab to inject DNA into cells to produce rHGH.

QSC was never that big of an operation to support such an expense, when the ingredients could just be purchased inexpensively,

They couldn't keep rubber particles out of oils. They certainly weren't conducting one of the most complex precision manufacturing processes in the world.
