How do you know I don't need t3? Have you seen my blood work? Your advice isn't warranted for my goals. Have you even read this entire log? Have you seen the diet and training I've outlined? Astronomical to you maybe...

Alas, on to what's important. This log. Keeping myself accountable and putting in 100% effort to document and keep track of my journey so I can make improvements for the future. The goal is the same. Get peeled.

PWO Shake - Added an orange since I wanted one, and it's a refeed day.

Dosed 500mg Metformin with the shake. We'll see what happens. So far I feel fine, no different. This is my first time taking it. I plan to take another 500mg with meal 4 and 5. I have no problem experimenting with this during a refeed day. Will keep it on hand for possible daily use, as I continue learning about it's efficacy in bodybuilding and for anti-aging. Hopefully it's tolerated as I've been reading lots of good things.

*Side note - I am considering adding MK-677 at 25mg/daily starting next month or in June. It would be an experiment, as I've never taken it before. Again, we'll see.

I haven't measured BF yet, it's only week 3 and I'm just going by the scale and mirror. I haven't dropped a significant amount of weight yet, but I have noticed small changes in physique. Will try to get a DEXA scan at week 16. Might do calipers next month.
 
I'm also considering adding L-carnitine and b12 from Synthetek alongside MK-677 for added fat loss. We shall see how May goes, then I'll take these things into consideration to really ramp things up.
 
I would avoid the MK if possible. Even low dose it bloated the hell outta me and made me hungry as fook. Not a great feeling while cutting. But then, you never know as you might react well to it.

The l-car should have a positive effect. Keep on it man. Diggin the log.
 
Last meal, 5. Added 350g white rice for refeed. Also, last 2 meals I skipped the pesto sauce and had a few Oz's brie cheese instead. Kind of a supplemental mini cheat. Will limit this behavior to 1 day a week, if at all, which will be on refeed days. Will not take metformin with this meal, as I want to ease into it slowly. Tired tonight, but feeling good. Another day down.

Weighing 218.4lbs before bed.

Dropping my AI back down to .25mg eod. Started feeling a little lethargic the past few days having it at .5mg. Also felt strength went down a tad.

Stomach and muscles feeling full. I think the metformin slowed down my digestion a little. We'll give it a few more days and see how I feel, and whether strength changes.

Dumbed things down a little. Keeping the same diet and macros but cycle has changed a little. Trying to simplify things. Also, 2 more changes.

First, no metformin - I don't like the way it makes me feel.
Second, reducing prami dose from 1mg to .5mg ed.

It's hard to sleep with all those things in your head
 
Went to bed at 218.4lbs, woke up at 215.8lbs. Gained a couple lbs since yesterday, probably mostly glycogen and water from refeeding.

I feel full and lean this morning. Leaner than yesterday. I don't feel like I'm holding any excess water, I don't look blurry like I did last week after refeed. (Metformin)?

Today will be back day, so it'll be good to have the energy. I'm feeling a little tired, but I'm still going to hit it hard, as tomorrow's a rest day from everything.

Hams are sore, and lower back is a bit tight, so will probably stick to cable and machine movements to avoid balancing.

Everything else is the same. Will post progress pics in 14 days.
 
I might try Berberine next time, now that I know how Metformin affects me a little weirdly. Thanks for the suggestion.

To be honest, I was just considering bringing the doses down a little. The thing is feel really great! No crazy side effects. No gyno, hair loss, rage, ED or high BP. I don't want to waste gear cutting, so here's what I've come up with. I probably won't go any lower than this because I want to see if I can actually build some muscle while in this deficit.

Foam roll, stretch and cycling was easy and sweaty. Hams felt good on the bike, happy to get some blood flow to them for recovery. I woke up sleepy, gym opened an hour late, but now I'm refreshed after eating breakfast.
